Hi Paul. I always use Ashwood for all my parts, Niall is amazing and was able to get all my parts to do the rear arms etc to me within 24 hrs this week. I needed new crush washers for the brake pipes to the rear calipers and he threw 4 in for me free, mind you... I have spent a lot with him recently on the rebuild of the car. I was going to do the front lower ball joins and front lower control arms today but it has rained all day, hopefully I can get them fitted tomorrow. Always enjoy your uploads mate.
Had same problem with my s-type, ditched the Ford crap and replaced the lot. Swollen wheel nuts is not what you want at the side of a wet and windy motorway ! 😣
Can you do a video on the window washer bottle. When I fill mine, it leaks straight out. It used to be an issue with the rubber pipe connecting to the bottle on the xk8 and I presume it's the same on the XK. Cheers
Paul I’ve got an xk150 07 year which has a problem with the touch screen on starting up the screen comes on as normal but after about 6/8 seconds it goes off comes on and goes off again and then on and then off and then it will come on at all unless you stop the car completely and then restart it. Have you come across this problem or know anybody who has. In the JEC magazine last month an article was done about this very problem and the only way he got his car fixed was to replace the whole touch screen unit for $500 with a second hand one from the states. Apparently there is nobody able to fix the screen in the uk. Thanks Tom
@thomasmacpherson5236 I'd try taking the unit out and making and breaking the connection to the plugs then try again as first thing always do the basics first 👍
That scheme might work; I work in the electronics field, and a lot of times, simply reseating the connector will correct an issue. A spritz of contact cleaner on the pins will also remove any corrosion.
Another thought, have a computer repair shop reflow the circuitry inside the module. Might have a cold solder joint on the circuit board - they have the gear to do this.
I’ll try doing this with the engine & ignition completely off but battery still connected obviously. Doing this with the engine running or ignition running may harm the ecu or touch screen panel totally
All of these problems are due to modern electronics in cars, especially luxury vehicles. This is why even Rolls_Royce and Bentley cars are no longer reliable after a few short years. They say if you do not have one or more engine warning ⚠ lights 🚥 showing. It is probably due to the previous owner disconnecting them !..
Always a potential disaster dealing with anything exhaust fasteners; they generally with heat and corrosion fuse to whatever they're fastening. Yours broke loose with little effort. Testimony to anti-seize, use always...

Oh Paul, bare kitchen table with those car parts. Mrs LOCs is going to catch you out..... Then there will be trouble😂
Do any of you XK owners know where you can get replacement (metal) decorative wheel studs for the SENTA wheels ?

I've changed all four sensors in mine recently and still getting a fault - guessing it's a wiring issue.....
@StuartHewitt still getting Oxygen Sensor codes?
