I actually appreciate when you declutter and explain why. It's further proof that our scent preferences are ever changing. What we liked today is not always what we like tomorrow & vice versa.
I am the same way as far as fragrances. I love to smell things, especially fragrances. I like my house smelling great my car smelling great, so I understand but I feel like I’m the only one who likes smells lol.
You can totally travel with your perfumes internationally. They will have to be in your checked in baggage. I usually put mine in my socks, back pocket of my jeans or fold them up in your clothes to protect them. Make sure you pack amongst your clothes like literally wrap them up to protect them. I have moved with over 100 bottles. Don't pack them all up in one suitcase, spread them out in all the suitcases you have.
Oh yea I’ve travelled many times with my perfume. I was more concerned about being able to send some with the movers and so far it’s been looking like I can package them up myself and they will take them. I think everything is looking good to go. Thanks! 🥰

I love the way you describe jasmine! lol. I completely agree, she can be so rude! In perfume she can quickly become a Disney villain queen, corrupting and intense! I get so mad when she ruins an otherwise amazing perfume.
Amy, you do as you please in your channel. It’s your money, your time, your space. If people don’t like you getting rid of some perfumes you used to love, forget about it. People change, noses change too. The weather in PR is very difficult to work with, so having a big collection and actually using all of them is a challenge. Forget about it girl, I’m here for all of your videos. Love your content!
Amy, I totally understand! People just don’t get it that we are changing during the time.. You can love something and recommend to us so then it’s up to us if we decide to buy. I feel the same way with Bubble Bath… sometimes the soapy musk in the base can be too strong… i agree that it’s a scent that one needs to be careful with the trigger with… but it’s beautiful 💜

I totally agree with you about the Kayali Amber Invite Only. It smells like the best fall candle (layered with Eden it really reminds me of BBW Autumn Day which I loved). It’s lovely, but I kind of struggle with it as a personal fragrance. 💁🏼♀️

I really like Fame and definitely get a juicy ma go but it's not tropical to me either due to the jasmine. It's more sensual, even year round and slightly fresh almost
I tried keeping the travel size around because I though maybe I’d pick up the mango at some point but it just keeps getting stronger on the jasmine so I gave up haha! But I can see how many people like that one because a lot of fragrances with jasmine are super popular. My skin just doesn’t like it one bit 😝
I’m having a hard time letting go of the travel size D&G Garden EDP. It smells so good from the bottle but when I put it on I’m not a fan. I prob need to do a combo with it. I laughed out loud when you said the Jasmine says “Excuse me! I’m coming through!” And it just takes over. I just pictured this bossy sassy woman cutting in front of everybody in line 😂
I had a hard time with Dolce Garden in the beginning. It made me super sick one day but I wore it while it was the middle of summer, so it felt super thick. Now I have a full size bottle of it but I like that one when it’s a little cooler.. like a nice cool spring day. 🥰❤️ Jasmine is just so rude on my skin 😝🤣 I’m like damn girl you can let other notes shine too you know! 😆
I absolutely LOVE Utopia, Sunkissed Hibiscus, and Fame. And guess what...who cares! We're all different lol I've never had an issues traveling with fragrances. Just do NOT put them in your carryon and wrap well in your suitcase, but spread them out due to weight limits ❤

The way I see it is, I’ve always had a passion for trying new products and doing reviews but I would never encourage someone to buy every single thing I show. I just love when I’m shopping for something and I find swatches of the product or listening to a few peoples opinion on it to help me decide if I want it or not. That’s why I just block people who leave me comments telling me those things because if you are so offended or so annoyed then why are you watching in the first place? I just decluttered YSL mon paris. It started smelling like pickle juice and lemon pinesol😩 On the plus side, I just added as a Mother's Day gift to myself, Bond No .9 Ny Nights and Gold Coast. You were kind in the way you told some viewers about themselves. Lol im too hood for that, I'd have cussed them out 😂🤣

Hi hope you enjoy your fragrances more agree about fame tried one time then gave it chance I did bought it and because of mango note so is a tricky perfume is very perfume scents and mango is very light in my skin but I don't mind hopefully the mango gets more intense as weather changes so yes highly recommend try it out first and yes at ulta was my first try then in perfume store that were it stranded more out and it was more warmer day.
I just finished watching and when you mentioned Replica's Bubble Bath, I actually had the urge to spray it on myself. I have the Memory Box with the sample sizes and I still had some left in the spray bottle. I already put on some coconut oil and sprayed BBW Snowflakes and Cashmere (eventhough it's Spring, I love that scent!) and it still felt like a light skin fragrance. So, I felt like I wanted a little more of something so Bubble Bath seemed like it would pair well together with it and it works on my skin. If you didn't mention it, I wouldn't have thought of it! Declutter videos can actually inspire people to use what they have. I love watching them! I recently decluttered a bunch of makeup and my collection is so much lighter and less overwhelming now. It feels good! 😊 now my fragrance collection is slowly getting out of control and I still want to buy more because I like smelling different everyday and trying new things. But i'm definitely sticking to travel sizes with perfumes first! I love that idea!

I think Replica fragrances can be very strong and headache inducing! I have to spray with a very light touch and strategically. It makes it a pain sometimes to learn how to work with it but the result though is kinda worth it 😊 "kinda" cause it's just another thing that takes time and you have to think about it before using it
I'm moving in 3 months and I feel small victorys everytime I use up a perfume or body mist right now 🤣 I got overwelmed thinking about moving 40 bottles so I sold 7 already and am working on using up 3 that are half gone. 👍🏻 Blind bought a lot in my late 20's and going for a smaller collection in my new house at 31 feels sooo good.

Girl I used to love burberry edt. Something changed and it smells so musky that I can't breathe. I'm almost done with it so it won't be a repurchase. I also recently got rid of velvet Vanilla which hurt because I used to love it. 😢
Our noses are so similar! I tried Burberry her edt like 4 times just to make sure I wasn’t having an off day and lately it’s just too screechy, musky, Floral. It kinda lost that dewy juicy pear I used to pick up and love so much 🥹 that one made me sad but it was fun while it lasted. 😝

Hi! My sotd is fame. I’m not good at recognizing certain smells, in this instance I think all I do smell is the jasmine. It doesn’t annoy me but it’s a meh. Side note: I bought the gift set and it’s the mini robot model plus a regular travel size. On a date smells like straight up patchouli on me I like sparkling sugar & Solar bloom I’m still trying to like utopia but I’m still unsure. I need to revisit Burberry Her. I just received a decant of the elixir that I plan to wear tomorrow. I need to revisit bubble bath. I want to try matcha meditation.

Omg I had Velvet Vanilla and I wanted to love it soooooo bad but I couldn’t get past the floral opening to enjoy the sweet, vanilla dry down 😞 I did get the vanilla in the dry down but couldn’t justify keeping it especially with the cost of it!!!
I like what you said about decluttering Loved it! I’ve used fragrances on my couch cushions & bedsheets, curtains etc. for when I want to enjoy it but not on myself. For my Sephora b-Day freebie I got a sample mini set of Replica Beach Walk, By the Fireplace,and On a Date. I already loved the other two, and thought I was gonna hate on a date but on my skin it smells so good! I was shocked! It smelled like what happens that night on your date 😅. Matcha Meditation smelled like matcha flavored white chocolate a little like fireside flurries from B&BW. I preferred Kilian Princess for that vibe. And the Paco Robot smells good on both me & my daughter, very fruity but I’ll probably pass on that too. Climate has a lot to do with fragrances and I think it’s ok to dislike a fragrance we once loved. If we didn’t change we wouldn’t evolve.
thought I was gonna hate date night cuz it got mixed reviews. I don’t even like rose or black currant but it takes me on a journey of a rainy date night then you end up in a bedroom passionately kissing your partner and you spilled your wine, the rose petals on the bedsheets get macerated as you intertwined, and the satin bedsheets are enveloped with the scent of perfume & cologne. That is what on a date smells like to me.

I have the same problem as you do with Nest fragrances. There are several that I love, but they disappear on my skin soooooo quickly. I’ve tried all of the tips & tricks to attempt to get some longevity from my Nest scents, but they just don’t stick around. That seems to be a common complaint with that brand, unfortunately.

If u wear a fragrance n it wears off, that doesn't mean that Is fake right? I actually thought yes lol I always had perfumes that lasts a very long time on me n even after doing laundry u still smell the perfumes lol but I had bought a few that wears off after a couple of little hours. Hey Amy ❤ I hear you on that sidenote/decluttering explanation 100%. I haven't done a declutter video on my channel in 3/4 of a year for that exact reason. People get too upity about it. They think you have some hidden agenda like you must be trying to "sell someone on a perfume". I always think, trust me - if I wanted to sell you on a perfume I wouldn't spend hundreds of my own dollars on it and then declutter it the next month!!! Where is the benefit for me of doing that? 😂. Why would I care what someone buys??? I don't - we're just sharing our journey. Sometimes we genuinely just change our minds about a perfume. And if the audience thinks that other reviewers who never show declutters don't do that themselves?? They're very naive - everyone changes their minds and does declutters, it's just not every perfume channel will show that - so they always seem "consistent and honest". No - *honesty is sharing when you change your mind*. Not hyping up perfumes and pretending you never declutter them ... now THAT to me is a hidden agenda. We're human, we're allowed to try new things, try them 2 or 3 or 4 times if we want, and change our minds every single time. There will always be that 1% of people who are rude and judgemental and emotionally immature. That being said, I have been taking more time for myself off camera and making decisions without filming or sharing every decision with the world because - sometimes I need to just do me and do it without anxiety or fear of what my audience will think. My next declutter video won't be till end of summer - from now on, it'll be one perfume collection video a year, and one declutter a year. Keeps things simple and then no one can accuse you of changing your mind about something a week later (even though that TOTALLY happens lol). It's a shame us perfume junkies have had to resort to explaining and rationalizing our choices like this. But, this is what rude people have reduced us to - feeling anxious over our own personal choices. I've developed a bit of a complex over it. Before I buy OR declutter a perfume, instead of thinking "Yes! This feels good, this feels right, I'm excited, I'm happy" - I think "I wonder what people will say..." Isn't that aweful? Perfume used to be fun. 😑 And I used to love decluttering and filming it all. Now I feel like every choice I make has to have some sort of perfect, objective explanation. The truth is - I'm human, you're human - we're never going to be objectively ok with everyone else. You do you!! ❤

Fame was a disappointment for me. I didn't get mango or tropical. People get mad about stupid things. Review are for information and description. You are a reviewer so yes you come across more fragrances than we do so opinions change more. We are all responsible for what we decide to do with our money.
I smelled Fame on store and I did pick up the mango, 1hr later on the heat at my house it was gone and jazmin was slapping me on the face 😢, can you recommend a good mango fragrance? I bought sampler set for replica & kayali, replica I must sadly say are not for me as for kayali, I hated pink pepper, made me 🤢, im loving vanilla coco, Vanilla 28 is ok, juice apple started good then dry down was making me 🤢, have to test others, im curious about gelato
I haven’t had too much luck with mango fragrances because they usually mix them with jasmine but the best mango fragrance I had was Dolce & Gabbana Shine but then after a while I started to pick up the white florals more than the mango on that one too 😩😩
Yup, it’s looking like that one doesn’t age too well and since it was already long lasting and strong in the beginning it just turned way too sharp and strong 😩
I wouldn't say I'm offended as I don't shop luxury or niche fragrances. What I get from declutter videos that makes me slightly uncomfortable is that is shows the level of consumerism that is encouraged on SM. Influencer are called influencer for a reason. Also, it always makes me question why perfume reviewers do not buy travel sprays to review instead of big bottles that they may regret. But then again, I understand you guys may not lose as much money from these based on tax write offs or the option to sell etc.

Bubble Bath has too much Musk in there for me. It makes it sharp and uncomfortable. How dare you declutter Matcha Meditation!! It's my favorite!😜 that jasmine in there is indolic and strong!! It usually blends into the background after about an hour but it's definitely strong and polarizing! Yes!! A lot of scents are nice to smell but not to wear!!

What a first world country problem to be upset about what other people are doing with their perfumes. Someone should start a charity to send decluttered Perfumes to people who are so poor they can’t even afford or come across perfumes let alone clean water. Amy, you do as you please in your channel. It’s your money, your time, your space. If people don’t like you getting rid of some perfumes you used to love, forget about it. People change, noses change too. The weather in PR is very difficult to work with, so having a big collection and actually using all of them is a challenge. I feel the same way with Bubble Bath… sometimes the soapy musk in the base can be too strong… i agree that it’s a scent that one needs to be careful with the trigger with… but it’s beautiful 💜

I totally agree with you about the Kayali Amber Invite Only. It smells like the best fall candle (layered with Eden it really reminds me of BBW Autumn Day which I loved). It’s lovely, but I kind of struggle with it as a personal fragrance. 💁🏼♀️

I tried keeping the travel size around because I though maybe I’d pick up the mango at some point but it just keeps getting stronger on the jasmine so I gave up haha! But I can see how many people like that one because a lot of fragrances with jasmine are super popular. My skin just doesn’t like it one bit 😝

I’m having a hard time letting go of the travel size D&G Garden EDP. It smells so good from the bottle but when I put it on I’m not a fan. I prob need to do a combo with it. I laughed out loud when you said the Jasmine says “Excuse me! I’m coming through!” And it just takes over. I just pictured this bossy sassy woman cutting in front of everybody in line 😂
I had a hard time with Dolce Garden in the beginning. It made me super sick one day but I wore it while it was the middle of summer, so it felt super thick. Now I have a full size bottle of it but I like that one when it’s a little cooler.. like a nice cool spring day. 🥰❤️ Jasmine is just so rude on my skin 😝🤣 I’m like damn girl you can let other notes shine too you know! 😆
I absolutely LOVE Utopia, Sunkissed Hibiscus, and Fame. And guess what...who cares! We're all different lol I've never had an issues traveling with fragrances. Just do NOT put them in your carryon and wrap well in your suitcase, but spread them out due to weight limits ❤

Hi hope you enjoy your fragrances more agree about fame tried one time then gave it chance I did bought it and because of mango note so is a tricky perfume is very perfume scents and mango is very light in my skin but I don't mind hopefully the mango gets more intense as weather changes so yes highly recommend try it out first and yes at ulta was my first try then in perfume store that were it stranded more out and it was more warmer day.
I love a good declutterjust wish you had a porshmark or something lolll but they are not wasted because you giving them away.🎉🎉
I just finished watching and when you mentioned Replica's Bubble Bath, I actually had the urge to spray it on myself. I have the Memory Box with the sample sizes and I still had some left in the spray bottle. I already put on some coconut oil and sprayed BBW Snowflakes and Cashmere (eventhough it's Spring, I love that scent!) and it still felt like a light skin fragrance. So, I felt like I wanted a little more of something so Bubble Bath seemed like it would pair well together with it and it works on my skin. If you didn't mention it, I wouldn't have thought of it!
Declutter videos can actually inspire people to use what they have. I love watching them! I recently decluttered a bunch of makeup and my collection is so much lighter and less overwhelming now. It feels good! 😊 now my fragrance collection is slowly getting out of control and I still want to buy more because I like smelling different everyday and trying new things. But i'm definitely sticking to travel sizes with perfumes first! I love that idea!

I think Replica fragrances can be very strong and headache inducing! I have to spray with a very light touch and strategically. It makes it a pain sometimes to learn how to work with it but the result though is kinda worth it 😊 "kinda" cause it's just another thing that takes time and you have to think about it before using it

Our noses are so similar! I tried Burberry her edt like 4 times just to make sure I wasn’t having an off day and lately it’s just too screechy, musky, Floral. It kinda lost that dewy juicy pear I used to pick up and love so much 🥹 that one made me sad but it was fun while it lasted. 😝

Omg I had Velvet Vanilla and I wanted to love it soooooo bad but I couldn’t get past the floral opening to enjoy the sweet, vanilla dry down 😞 I did get the vanilla in the dry down but couldn’t justify keeping it especially with the cost of it!!!

For my Sephora b-Day freebie I got a sample mini set of Replica Beach Walk, By the Fireplace,and On a Date. I already loved the other two, and thought I was gonna hate on a date but on my skin it smells so good! I was shocked! It smelled like what happens that night on your date 😅.
Matcha Meditation smelled like matcha flavored white chocolate a little like fireside flurries from B&BW. I preferred Kilian Princess for that vibe. And the Paco Robot smells good on both me & my daughter, very fruity but I’ll probably pass on that too. Climate has a lot to do with fragrances and I think it’s ok to dislike a fragrance we once loved. If we didn’t change we wouldn’t evolve.
thought I was gonna hate date night cuz it got mixed reviews. I don’t even like rose or black currant but it takes me on a journey of a rainy date night then you end up in a bedroom passionately kissing your partner and you spilled your wine, the rose petals on the bedsheets get macerated as you intertwined, and the satin bedsheets are enveloped with the scent of perfume & cologne. That is what on a date smells like to me.

I have the same problem as you do with Nest fragrances. There are several that I love, but they disappear on my skin soooooo quickly. I’ve tried all of the tips & tricks to attempt to get some longevity from my Nest scents, but they just don’t stick around. That seems to be a common complaint with that brand, unfortunately.

Hey Amy ❤ I hear you on that sidenote/decluttering explanation 100%. I haven't done a declutter video on my channel in 3/4 of a year for that exact reason. People get too upity about it. They think you have some hidden agenda like you must be trying to "sell someone on a perfume". I always think, trust me - if I wanted to sell you on a perfume I wouldn't spend hundreds of my own dollars on it and then declutter it the next month!!! Where is the benefit for me of doing that? 😂. Why would I care what someone buys??? I don't - we're just sharing our journey. Sometimes we genuinely just change our minds about a perfume. And if the audience thinks that other reviewers who never show declutters don't do that themselves?? They're very naive - everyone changes their minds and does declutters, it's just not every perfume channel will show that - so they always seem "consistent and honest". No - *honesty is sharing when you change your mind*. Not hyping up perfumes and pretending you never declutter them ... now THAT to me is a hidden agenda.
We're human, we're allowed to try new things, try them 2 or 3 or 4 times if we want, and change our minds every single time. There will always be that 1% of people who are rude and judgemental and emotionally immature. That being said, I have been taking more time for myself off camera and making decisions without filming or sharing every decision with the world because - sometimes I need to just do me and do it without anxiety or fear of what my audience will think. My next declutter video won't be till end of summer - from now on, it'll be one perfume collection video a year, and one declutter a year. Keeps things simple and then no one can accuse you of changing your mind about something a week later (even though that TOTALLY happens lol). It's a shame us perfume junkies have had to resort to explaining and rationalizing our choices like this.
But, this is what rude people have reduced us to - feeling anxious over our own personal choices. I've developed a bit of a complex over it. Before I buy OR declutter a perfume, instead of thinking "Yes! This feels good, this feels right, I'm excited, I'm happy" - I think "I wonder what people will say..." Isn't that aweful? Perfume used to be fun. 😑 And I used to love decluttering and filming it all. Now I feel like every choice I make has to have some sort of perfect, objective explanation. The truth is - I'm human, you're human - we're never going to be objectively ok with everyone else. You do you!! ❤

Fame was a disappointment for me. I didn't get mango or tropical. People get mad about stupid things. Review are for information and description. You are a reviewer so yes you come across more fragrances than we do so opinions change more. We are all responsible for what we decide to do with our money.

I smelled Fame on store and I did pick up the mango, 1hr later on the heat at my house it was gone and jazmin was slapping me on the face 😢, can you recommend a good mango fragrance? I haven’t had too much luck with mango fragrances because they usually mix them with jasmine but the best mango fragrance I had was Dolce & Gabbana Shine but then after a while I started to pick up the white florals more than the mango on that one too 😩😩
I was obsessed with Burberry Her EDT last year and recently decluttered it. It was way too strong for me and just could not make it work.
Yup, it’s looking like that one doesn’t age too well and since it was already long lasting and strong in the beginning it just turned way too sharp and strong 😩

I wouldn't say I'm offended as I don't shop luxury or niche fragrances. What I get from declutter videos that makes me slightly uncomfortable is that is shows the level of consumerism that is encouraged on SM. Influencer are called influencer for a reason. Also, it always makes me question why perfume reviewers do not buy travel sprays to review instead of big bottles that they may regret. But then again, I understand you guys may not lose as much money from these based on tax write offs or the option to sell etc.
I totally get what you are saying and as of a few months ago I did start that change where I am buying more travel sizes than full bottles. I just don’t understand the need to talk down on people the way they do. Each person has their own way of doing things and I would never go on their channel and tell them how they should be spending their money. It’s as if they want to blame the influencer for buying perfumes because the influencer said it was good 🤦🏻♀️ we have to be able to make smart decisions with our finances and not look to someone else to blame. I get influenced all the time and at times I don’t love the product the way they did but I was the once who chose to buy it. I know when it’s time to take breaks from shopping etc. because I have to be realistic with myself and my household. thank you for giving your opinion in a respectful way ❤️ I’m here for that any day 🥰
@@AmyGlam definitely get your perspective. I too, know when I should stop shopping, I also know how much I will not spend on certain things, so that help me to not be heavily influenced. Right now, I'm not buying anything, but I still watch certain types of perfume videos. I have watched most of yours of recent, just don't comment.

What a first world country problem to be upset about what other people are doing with their perfumes. Someone should start a charity to send decluttered Perfumes to people who are so poor they can’t even afford or come across perfumes let alone clean water. Because people blind buy full bottles, without testing and they don t like them. And after that, they feel cheated. They get emotional when the perfume is hyped and just buy it. we are excited adults:)))
I enjoy declutter videos makes me feel less guilty because I am someone who will go ham on the semi annual sale in winter and by spring I'm calling my sisters to come take things off my hands because I want to make room for others things.
