- If you have a scope with a either a MILDOT or MOA reticle, you should seriously consider purchasing the MILDOT MASTER...and watching this video where I walk you through using it!
The MILDOT MASTER is constructed of a flexible plastic/polycarbonate type material that is very tough and allows shooters to avoid complex Long Range Shooting equation "in the field".
This video looks at the MILDOT MASTER and covers EVERYTHING that you can do with this fantastic LONG RANGE SHOOTING tool including:
Ranging with Mildot & MOA reticles...
Measuring Objects with Mildot & MOA reticles...
MOA to MIL conversions and vice versa...
Angled Shooting...
Pro's & Con's of the Mildot Master and the alternatives...
At the end I also go over my "Final Thoughts".
The MILDOT MASTER is available in Imperial and Metric versions. To purchase, simply click the appropriate link* below to grab one for yourself...

**I'm aware that this video is fairly long at about 30 minutes...HOWEVER, I believe this is the most in depth MILDOT MASTER video available on RUclips, covering features that other reviewers either neglected to mention or didn't know about.**
Take care and happy shooting...

That’s twice in two days I’ve tried to listen to this. It’s a sure fire way to cure insomnia.
Great video and great explanation of how this works. I just bought one today and was a little overwhelmed, but this video really helped me out. Great channel and fantastic work your doing. Add one more to the subscriber list! Thanks!
Thank you for explaining the mildot master, always handy to brush up on skills
Cheers thx for tutorial including conversion from MOA - MIL & visa versa. Sadly video wasn't very clear and couldn't read chart. If possible, please consider redoing tutorial with close up to read figures. Thanks again. One of the best talks. Cheers digger
The best video ever!!!!!!
That’s nice. He calls it ‘little Jim’.
Great information. Thanks!
jjangenya87 Your welcome. Glad you liked it...
Do you have a license for that mildot master? >_>
I know this is way late of a post. I was watching your video and liked it. Question on the back of your Mildot Master, Where did you get that card at? Your range card or dope card? Sorry I'm hard of hearing today. 11/7/2019.
If you look in the manual that comes with the tool they say somewhere in there. (Sorry, it’s been a while since I’ve looked at my manual for it)
@@NPCSN Thanks I'll look. No problem. Better late then never. :)
Hey,
Please suggest for a meters to calculate
Does the MDM work with MOA reticles for ranging?
Great question...
Although it was designed for primarily for MIL based Reticles, it CAN be used for MOA based reticles.
The process for using with MOA based reticles is outlined in the video...
I hope this helps.
@@TacticalClassroom how can mil-dot master tell the bullet drop without knowing the cartridge ballistics, caliber, velocity, tempature, angle etc.
Do they make a MOA master?
Where did you get the chain ball? lol
I got a headache looking at the background
Yeah, nice; why not just make a range card? List Bullet drop compensation, and cosigns for slope and you're done with it all. Know two formulas: ranging and MOA wind contstant and buy a compass with a Clinometer function. That's it.
The card also serves to convert known or estimated measurements into range.
