Jim's weakness is he's not a good listener especially to his own family. Making it the cause of his downfall was just consistent story telling. Kinda feel bad for him tho, his insecurity hindered him from helping the gang sooner.
Honestly I just see a guy trying to keep his family from dying. And his prediction was pretty much correct. The guy in yellow said "knowledge has consequences." By them looking for answers, Jim got killed. And ironically he was the only one trying to tell them maybe they should stop for this reason.
Jim dying really got me, I didn’t like his character, not cuz it was bad because it was sympathetic, bro was in a place he didn’t belong and was trying to make since of it and take care of his family, of course he was going to look dumb, hope they find a way to bring closure to his death next season.
It actually makes sense. Julie did not change the story by throwing the rope to help Boyd. It was always supposed to happen that way. Her time traveling and throwing the rope was the reason that Boyd escaped and that led to many everything that happened in the town that led to Julie time traveling. If Boyd didn't escaped, Julie couldn't have time traveled at the exact same time that she did. Different causes have different effects. Let's see how the next season builds up the story. In reality, time travel to the past is impossible because the past doesn't exist physically. the past is just a different arrangement of atoms and everything else in the universe. A different state of the universe. If the past does exist physically then that means that the universe is being duplicated constantly. @@John-lt3uhtheres a chance now we know julie csn time travel the problem is ethan said julie cannot change the story or future whatever
but if thats the case how did julie saved boyd in the well thsts the issue there maybe it was meant to happen? also julie didnt know whos in the well
since time travel is a things there is a possibility of his return
I think the reason why she was able to toss the rope to Boyd is because that always happened, where Julie was meant to time travel to assist Boyd. Her trying to stop the MIY from killing her dad, that was to always happen as well.
