  • In this video, you will see the beach at 24th Stree+t in Sinkor, Monrovia, where the Atlantic Ocean is gradually eroding the coastline, destroying homes along the shore. You'll see some of the demolished buildings and get a closer look at the current state of the beach and ocean.
Right now, due to the season, the water has receded, revealing more of the shoreline. Unfortunately, many of the houses in this area are built to low standards, and the beach is not well-maintained by those living nearby.

The government needs to make the homeowners clean up the damaged house.

The government needs to enforce building construction laws to prevent these situations. Secondly, it is the responsibility of both builders and homeowners to know what they want and understand the soil conditions and how to protect that building and residents from weather conditions!
