We ordered our new Brooklyn Bedding mattress, it came in and it’s ready for when we leave on our journey next week. Can’t wait for the good night RV sleep.
Love the full hook ups 🤣 can't wait until the full eletric 350 🙄.Have you seen lippert is in the planning stages of a rv chassis with electric drive axles to help the electric tow vehicle get more distance what a joke. I did see you have a lectric bike those are something electric that's worth while and practical I love mine.
There is no doubt that if they had an electric F350 it would pull way more than we can now, but until I can go 300 plus miles pulling without having to charge it'd doesn't matter what it can pull! They will eventually get it figured out, but there is going to be trade off's that have to be made to get it done! We love our Lectric bike!
@Paving New Paths I think electric vehicles maybe ok for certain things but nothing I really want 350 fully electric may pull more but payload would suffer the ford halftone lighting ways like 6,000lbs a350 would be probably 10,000
For sure it would suffer in payload, it might even weigh more than 10,000lbs when its said and done! I will start to come around when they get the electric semi trucks figured out!
My husband and I spent an anniversary in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg back in the 90's. We left Gatlinburg on May 7th. Heading back south to our home in Florida. But the time we got to Cherokee they were closing the Parkway because of the snow storm.
Elm hill was great, the sites didn't seem all that close together and we only paid $60 a night! We have stayed at places that cost way more for way less!
@@PavingNewPaths the two times that we have stayed we paid $85 one stay and over $100 the second stay. The sites around the edges all have amazing views of the lake.

No problem with going to one when not towing though. Have lots of fun around Pigeon Forge, hope you get up to hike one of the hikes in Smoky Mountains NP. That was our first and likely last time with the RV! Getting in was easy, leaving not so much! We are from Texas where they started so we know they are awesome store's but very expensive! The gas is usually very cheap but everything else not so much!

I saw that video as well! I hope it goes back to letting us film! We still visit the parks but haven't been filming due to the process and fee's required to film!

Thank you! The tubing is a little aggressive, watch the other people first and see which lanes are the smoothest at the bottom! Pigeon Forge is a great place to go on vacation!
The adults can go down any lane your going to come in hot no matter what! But watch the rough lanes and the kids it will bounce them and they will bottom out!
Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg is practically our backyard and we love it there. We also received good news that due to someone else's misfortune, the shop has a new engine for our RV. So it won't be long until we are back on the road agin.
How did your ankle hold up, Alecia? That Astra Lumina was enchanting! Thanks for taking us along. Did you go to the National Park at all? If nothing else, you should just drive through the parks and stop at the overlooks. Such memories your kids will have. You should ask about educational materials at the parks. You could mail them to Phil and Lolo to keep for you.
My ankle held up great! We did visit the national park and several other things that will be in another video coming soon! Just because we can't film doesn't mean we won't still go, we love all the National Parks!
I had almost the same parking spot at buc-ees. the wife and kids ran inside and I had to find somewhere to park. But I stopped in front of the row of teslas all charging while the drivers were reading books or watching movies whey they filled up their cars. I filled up the truck with diesel and def wife got grub and used the bathroom and I didn't have a single telsa driver say I was in their way.

Is the Buc-ee's open at Exit 407? I really want to stop at one!! (I sure parking in Gatlinburg was fun with that F350 Dually!!) Stay safe!!
Congratulation's on the new RV the Buc-ee's at exit 407 was not open yet when we left but it might be soon! Gatlinburg was not very difficult in the dually, the worst place so far has been Charleston South Carolina!

I've been entertained by most of your videos up to this point. I don't quite understand if you're busting on EV owners or Bucee's for having all the hookups for them. Either way, you sound very uneducated with the comments about Tennessee and Texas. Full disclosure... I own a Chevy 2500 Diesel that pulls my Fifth Wheel and a Tesla for my milage heavy sales job. Just saying, there's room for all vehicles at the party, and a reason for everyone's choice in what they drive.
It's all fun and games! But lets be real Buc-ees didn't put them there for the EV owners! They are there because he gets huge tax credits to install them! We have nothing against EV vehicles, but as you can see from the video there wasn't a line to use the chargers! Open road north america is not ready for this type of vehicle, it can work great in the city but not ideal for travel yet! I will come around when they build a vehicle that can tow with an acceptable range between recharges! Will it happen in my life time? Yes, but for now its just not there yet!
You seem like great folks with gorgeous children, but blocking EV chargers is a No-No, regardless of if they are being used or not. If another rig pulled in and parked in front of the other charges, there would have been no place for a Tesla to charge. I say this as a RV’er who pulls a 36’ TT with a F250 and a Tesla owner, who has traveled across the country with both our RV and Tesla
It is all in good fun! You can also see from the video that we prevented no EV from charging! I bet you also don't like when cars use the "only diesel pump" to fill up!
@@PavingNewPaths Yep, I know it was all in fun, just saying its still not right, EV charging spots are for EV's to charge, not for non EV's to park. If those would have been all handicap parking spaces that were not being used, would you have parked there?
They don't put handicap parking spaces out by the road away from everyone, so no I wouldn't find myself with the choice of taking up those spaces! The difference is handicap spaces are actually getting used, where these charging stations not so much! Nothing against EV's but you're missing the bigger picture, Buc-ees only builds his places in the middle of nowhere between cities, him installing charging stations makes no sense as the stores are nowhere near a city! Likely he only installed them for tax credits for his business and also the reason they are always empty, EV's make sense in the city but no one is traveling across the country in one!
