Great tutorial Scott! Before i purchase premiere elements 11 i want to know can you add subtitles with a transparent text box overlay in any color around the text?
It's too bad you didn't preview the clip after you did the final effects edit, just so we could see what the results were. Other than that, the video was very informative. I'm just wondering, Scott... Can these effects techniques be used to superimpose one video clip over another... creating a kind of "ghost image" with the superimposed clip?
Hi Scott! Love your videos... Thanks for sharing. My wife and I traveling the world and film with an iphone 6 and Canon Rebel and use Adobe Premiere Elements for all our shooting and editing. Do you mind giving our Ireland video a look and maybe sharing your knowledge on how I could make my future videos better? Thank you so much!!
Thanks, Scott. On another subject...hope you can help. I finished a 70 minute project on Premiere elements 15 yesterday. After rendering and saving to my desktop as a MP4, neither WIndows media player or VLC will play the file. Granted, I’m still using a Win7 computer which I am trashing soon, but I somehow need to get this file to play. I attempted to load a new codec, since the error message says I needed. No go. I plan on buying a new Win10 computer soon. If I transfer the timeline with Files to premiere elements 2020 on the new computer, Will it work? One more thing. The playback head keeps rolling past the end marker without stopping with a small vertical white line above the play head. How do I get it to stop? Thanks!
I have Adobe Premiere Elements 11. Is there a way to blur out something out? For example if there are people in a Premiere Elements 11 video, is there a way to blur the face so that the person can't be identified?
What do I do when my PC freezes up when I try to apply an effect to a clip? I get a black circle with a diagonal line accross it. The mouse cursor dissapears and I cannot do anything. When I drag the mouse onto a bit of desktop the mouse arrow re-appears but when I drag the mouse cursor back onto the Elements viewing window the small black NO- Entry circle appears again and Elements will not respond to nothing. This happens every time.
Thank you I learn something every day regarding Adobe Premier elements.
Thank you Scott. That technique works equally well in Premiere Elements 8. Thanks for sharing.

Is there a snow scene affect liken to the elements Photoshop where I can apply snow scene to a video clip ?
What if you want to apply the effect to just the girls and leave the rest of the clip as is?

William Brown graphics card and cpu isn't up to par with the reccomended settings for editing you would have to upgrade.
can you overlay a video with in a other video
Can I add the effects to all of my clips at one time or does it have to be individual? If yes, how? Thanks!
Or you can drag 2nd clip over clip one...these are basic editing.
I'm going to wear your face
