My mom did want me to be mature , but she cared about me. She tell me to think before I speak . I can be disciplined if I want to be, I try to do my best. But my mom disciplined so I can present myself better to others and not make a fool of myself. I think that’s a good thing, bc crying in public isn’t appropriate . It embarrasses me . Yes my mom is protective of me so much, she always mentions how hard life is and to be prepared . So Capricorn. And when I do tell her my problems she listens and gives some good advice, not harsh but just that it’s the way the world is and it’s okay . It’s comforting and I feel comfortable telling her almost anything .

This makes so much sense. I don’t ever remember talking to my mom about my emotions or even just what I did at school. I was the oldest and my younger brother and sister were twins. I had a lot of responsibility at a young age. Even as an adult, I feel like I have to be guarded in how I talk to my mother.
My mom's words were "Don't be a wimp" or "I didn't raise a wimp". My Leo heart was hurt a lot. This video is 100% correct. My mom worked all the time.

Patrice Scott that was my experience as well I'm a Taurus and I had an Aquarius mom and a Libra dad and they both had fire moons they were both aloof and far from nurturing in the way that I needed them to be but my gma was a Taurus sun Capricorn moon and she did everything for me... Earth people need other earth people or else they'll feel totally insane.

Oh man, I'm a Capricorn moon and this was me. My mother parentified me. I was the oldest and was responsible for my younger siblings and was given adult-level responsibilities at a young age, which was not appropriate for a child. I also was not allowed to express my feelings. I was called overly dramatic :/
I know this video is a few years old, but I feel compelled to let you know how much this resonates with me. I’m a 1st house cap moon and while my mother instilled some great qualities in me, some of my earliest memories are of both of my parents abandonment and them showing me it’s not safe to showcase my feelings in this world. Your point about us feeling it’s simply safer to keep things internalized is spot on. My biggest piece of advice to mothers who have children with this placement is to always create space for them to feel. Any emotion that comes up and to provide healthy outlets so it doesn’t build up internally. If my parents had more compassion, I believe this placement could have been an asset in my childhood.

My idea of loving someone is to put them in a position of power and independence. I also have been in business for 10 years. He is 16. I need to ease up but I love him very much. Oh wow …I’m moon and Venus in Capricorn ♑️….you described my whole childhood to exact point ……..till this day I can’t go to my mom about emotions because she really hasn’t changed unfortunately…it’s safe to be to stay alone in my thoughts it’s not easy with this position because it’s hard for me to open up a anyone and life has been tough in general

Growing up, I had a lot of disdain towards her. She was very cold (she’s an Aqua sun, Pisces moon, Virgo rising), I was also in charge of taking care of my siblings yet I didn’t get taken care of myself so I didn’t know what to do. I felt like I had to shut up and be pretty. I now understand she made the best choices she could at the time with the information she had. Even though I disagreed with the way she went about everything, I’m grateful because she taught me what not to do. Same with my father.

thank you for this detailed explanation! my hubby is a cappy and his other is a cancer. He is overly attached to her and is constantly calling her and almost reporting everything to her that goes on in his life and it feels so weird! and if he misses a week of calling he feels so guilty! She sets the tone by feeling entitled to knowing what he does all the time. She admitted to me several times that she only had him to get another woman jealous! she is insensitive, entitled, oversteps boundaries constantly and makes sure everything is all about her She will lie to your face if it means that she can have her way. Dare I say that I try to keep my distance from her as much as possible. But this helps me to see how her neglect hasmade my hubby into an obsessed momma's boy! 🤯
Libra sun/Capricorn moon +stellium and I agree. My mom and I arent that close and it is so hard for me to express my emotions because I’m seen as the mature one. Even though I want to throw tantrums etc I dont cause Ik that I’m fully aware of the more mature route to take but it’s sucks and doesn’t seem fair. I rarely tell my family or friends my personal info because ion want to come off like a sad case plus it’s so much I repressed I don’t want to over load them or have them see me as anything but strong. So I’ve learned to be my own parent (mom and dad) and provide and teach myself what I should of learned but it’s mad hard sometimes cause it’s like I can only lean on myself lol

Yes I am a Capricorn moon. Aries sun my rising I think it’s cancer my chart kept switching from my rising to Sagittarius but I’m thinking it’s cancer lol. My mother was very abusive to me and still is she still to this day put spells on me been doing it since I was a kid. She’s a Scorpio moon Virgo sun. My moon it’s in my first house & my other cap placements in my 2nd house. This definitely resonated with me love 🤍🙏🏽Didn’t have a childhood at all. Always had to watch after my siblings we have different dads but I am a only child my father passed away when I was a kid and my mother lied to me about him. I’m definitely a old soul. I want lie my mother was a complete narcissists growing up it was just me and my sister in the house i was the oldest my father left us he was a narcissist also I had to do. Alot of fast growing as well if i could some up my childhood in a movie I would say watch mama dearest....till this day me and my mother don't bond and I don't even care anymore but it has effected the way i can love others....
I'm 38 and to this day my "mom" is still emotionally unavailable..and it still hurts. Now I have my own kids (2&5) it's an emotional mess within me🤷💔
