By the way, if A-90 appears while A-60 or 120 appears it actually freezes them until A-90 is done attacking
it does freeze A-120, and it only slowers A-60
Oh ok
Thank you for advice
Cool, thats a priority check
Ok
Something I learned about a-90 is that they attack whenever. I was afk for a bit doing something else and I heard 90 attack multiple times, so you can get a-90 in the same room multiple times. So in a way you could say they act similarly to screech, but getting close to lockers is the tick and not darkness.
I absolutely Hate A-90, for me he is the hardest entity, i died multiple times due to him.
After I watched this video I made it to 358 for the first time, only died since 120 appeared and there were no lockers for a few rooms.
@@ripyello360 so a-120 can appear in a room without lockers 😮😮
@@KietTran-tm3qy no, he probably rushed through the doors and the entity spawns later
Well the layout of the rooms were those of rooms with no lockers -3-
Another tip is to have headphones turned up fairly high so that you can hear the ambience, what I noticed is that when A-90 comes he does a little heartbeat noise and cancels out all ambience so its easier to react to him when you have both a clear visual and sound cue
Ahh thank you
I will NOT have my eardrums blown out by a90 every single time
A-90's main goal is to destroy your ears, always remember that
@@OnlyOozyJay ok
this is a good tip but when he eventually attacks the sound is extremely loud. Like, ear bleeding loud
Here's a tip I found when I try to reach A-1000: If the sound of the A-60 sounds deeper, that is, if it sounds a little slower, it means that the A-90 will attack before or after entering the locker. I tested and saw this tip.
The thing you need to remember is that, when a-90 appears, all the sounds in-game stop, you cant no more hear ambience or other entities' screaming, keep that in mind.
Although the “no ambience” part can be really subtle but I still think that’s useful
Bro sacrificed multiple good runs to get us this information. respect.
Innit
A-90 commonly spawns alongside a-60 or a-120, and a way to tell if he is about to appear will be that every sound effect suddenly stops. He does this before appearing on your screen and it helps a ton. Idk if this is in the video since I didn't watch the video, but a helpful tip.
Does the game music also stops??
To explain better, A-90 only has an increased chance of spawning when A-60 or A-120 spawns (or has a 50% chance of spawning or not spawning), as it doesn't always spawn when A-60 or A- 120 appearances
@Meeche true
@Meeche Ik A-90 is just satan spawn himself no cap
@Meeche chapter 2 screech was NERF
Screech is easy
A-90 idk the name (the one that you gatta stop moving)
Is on another level of being a Little-
@@eduespro A-90 is a random entity spawning in a random area of the screen. You can call him the travelling entity.
@Meeche.H is screech but in rooms
Here's another tip, A-90 can combo after any entity that you encounter, So you have to remember to be on your guard once you're pretty far into the rooms if you're trying to get to A-1000 , Keep in mind that it's a long process and that it can take up to 3 hours max to beat rooms entirely, That means you're likely going to start getting tired and loosing focus meaning it'll become easier to slip up.
‘Combo after any entity that you encounter’
It happens, but there are only three guys there. Which is good since a game with only A-90 would still be as difficult as The Rooms currently are.
@@IamStrikareaYsALT no a-90 combo with another entity is pretty annoying to deal with sometimes and its getting to the locker which can be rough, avoiding a-90 itself isnt a problem and the same can be said for any of them but I think when they combo then its possible to get unlucky
True. But at least A-90 slows A-60’s and A-120’s attacks.
Yea, A-90 also combo after himself, he appears twice between 0.5 seconds for me
Just try it once a day then
Fun Fact: though it doesn’t work in the normal way, in the rooms the candle cant melt, making it a reliable light source if you have no other options
The text when you press the candle "The candle feels lighter than normal." is showing that Guiding Light is keeping the candle in one piece, along with the crucifix.
It does not work as a light source. Unless lowered graphics bug it, the candle never actually emits light, just doesn't go out.
Good advice: Rapid heartbeats are also played a few milliseconds before A-90 spawns.
milliseconds, really
Wow so helpful miliseconds 🤩🤩🤩 /s
@@YouAreYourselfAndNotMe speedrunner be like:
Considering the fact that the average human reaction speed to auditory stimuli is 0.17 seconds (170 milliseconds.) combined with the 0.25 second visual stimuli reaction speed when a-90 that appears, the heartbeat when noticed gives you enough time to react properly.
@@checkmated2667 that only matters if your WiFi isn't garbage
A-90 is the bane of my existence. I legitimately have not died to anything in The Rooms other than him. My only issue with how he works is that he can take stupid amounts of reaction time, and sometimes that’s not enough. One time I was before Door 90, and then immediately got attacked by A-90, he didn’t appear at all, not once on screen but he still attacked me. At least with the first time I was moving, but the second time in the same run was when I was already in a locker, not even touching my keyboard or mouse, it makes no sense to me.
they should make it so he shakes your screen a little or maybe have something been destroyed or have a sound play
In my opinion, if bandages were able to spawn after A-90 attacked you, a lot of the A-90 hate would be fixed.
dude is also loud as fuck with headphones
I have only died to a-60 and it was bullcrap. I made it to A-004 BEFORE PERISHING.
Yeah. The Rooms need to be fixed.
Make the entities appear when they are supposed to, and make it so bandages spawn if you don’t have full health.
this is embarrassing to admit but it took me way too long to figure out that the fridge in the kitchen is a locker.
lmfaoooooo 😹😹😹😹
Wait what
No way
That was a locker?
@@AtlasDX9 yup the fridge is a locker
If you move too much when A-90 attacks he kills you instantly. Also A-90 Spawns randomly from time to time no matter if ur afk in a locker in a random room or walking. However it also has a chance to appear a little before A-60 or A-120 spawns on the map, which means when ur going to enter a wardrobe. So that means that you can get both at almost the same time but that's super rare. With that i recommend giving a 0.5 second stop before entering any locker to allow ur reflexes to search for a possible A-90 attack. I personally also only use my mouse to pick up coins or batteries but other than that i point at the next door and just use WASD to move around because the doors always appear on the other side of the door u entered.
@IncredibleJ9 No he didn't, he just said A-90 attacks with A-60 but didn't tell the small 0.5 second stop for example, that's why he has clips of him dying while entering lockers

heres a tip if you feel afraid of a90 just constantly tap w and very rarely adjust your camera to get batteries and stuff (when 60/120 appear you can still tap a lil bit but if you are far away i would get to the locker as fast as you can)
But then it will take longer

That’s how I beat A-1000
I completed the A-1000 challenge yesterday and when I was at door 998 A-90 almost killed me, the guides are very helpful against him cause for me A-90 is by far the most annoying one from the three entities that attack you in the rooms.

I have gotten to A-1000. I will provide thoughts I have on this if mine are different.
Never tackle Rooms alone, always bring at least one friend who you can voice chat with for the long haul. It helps you keep your focus of A-90 and makes Rooms actually kinda enjoyable for the first 150.
You do not need good reflexes to handle A-90. The trick is to rely on his audio cue. At 2:07 you can hear it, it's this heart beat sort of sound that beats 4 times. Try to listen for it in the clip. You have a half second after he appears on screen to stop. This is more than enough time for those with average auditorily reaction times to stop on time, if not with time to spare. The audio cue sounds way longer when actually playing the game.
Pressing E to enter a locker is nearly instant, so there will be times when you enter a locker with A-90 on screen and think you should have died. You only have to be motionless when the stop sign is on screen, but it is wise to wait for A-90 before entering lockers.
One extra tip I'll share is that A-90 is completely random. Always be ready for him, even when another entity is attacking. Make note that entering lockers is instant, this means you can wait a bit in front of one before entering to give a buffer for A-90. As long as you can make room for A-90 when being attacked by entities, you can make it to A-1000 easily if you have the time.
PH MY GOD THANK YOU FOR THE SOUND CUE TIP
@@stupidestdumbcat Without the sound cue, A-90 is absurdly difficult. With it, A-90 becomes about as difficult as Rush.
How about on Xbox what do u press
@@Gray8704 it's the same button you press to interact with stuff. E is the interact button on PC, whatever the interact button is on xbox is the one to press.
I don't have an xbox so i don't know
Yeah the heartbeat is much easier to notice than the visual sti, muli of a-90 appearing.
The average reaction speed to visual stimuli in humans is 250 milliseconds (0.25 seconds)
Though the reaction speed to auditory stimuli is 170 milliseconds.
When these 2 combine though, it gives most folks plenty of time to respond.
A-90 instantly killing you is mostly because you got hit by something else before entering rooms, the healthbar looks full but it isnt
👍
I didnt know that. Thanks!
@@YouAreYourselfAndNotMe same
It's heavily recommended to use a flashlight as it said because batteries are really common in the rooms, so the shakelight really should be a backup
A-90 can also appear twice in the same room. He appeared when I was trying to hide from A-120, and again before i could get to the next room.
Another good tip is, for those who flinch especially, keep your hand near- but not on- the mouse. So, if you flinch, you won't move the camera. Only move when you need to get to a locker you can't face.
Thank you :) this was very helpful and you made me feel a lot better about it. And the end message rlly boosted my confidence
this is the kind of videos we need, detailed guides that show every detail, keep up the good work
I actually know a bit more about a90 than what other people know about him. A90's attack rate actually depends on two automatic factors, and one manual factor. The two automatic factors are upon the opening of a door, and upon the arrival of an entity. These two factors play directly on each other very often, which is what gives a90 it's signature co-attacks. The other manual factor, however, is actually dependant on a random timer. This factor is what allows a90 to be able to perform double whammies as well, and its the only factor that isnt fully chance based. I know this because I opened a door and immediately a-90 attacked and I decided to take that moment as a brief break, so I hid in a locker and went to use the bathroom, which took a couple minutes, and when I came back a90 just struck out of nowhere. The next door didnt even open!
Ok 👍
Oh god this is too smart for my brain
if i’m understanding correctly
three things cause a-90 to show up
1 - when you open a new door, there’s a chance it’ll appear
2 - if a-60 or a-120 come, a-90 will usually come up before alongside the entities
3 - it can just pop up randomly. nothing triggers it, it was just coded in a way that makes it pop up out of nowhere. this makes it so you can’t really have a strategy for it cause it appears whenever
that’s dumb shortened version cause i didn’t understand the first time with the use of more advanced filler words 😅
@@KieaTheIdiotrelate😭😭😭
i've finished the A-1000 challenge and a tip i can give is before for some reason A-90 likes to spawn in rooms where the hiding are far from you and that A-60 is coming, i don't know if it's true but for some reason he always appeared in that type of rooms, also i recommand to before going in a hiding spot waiting a little so A-90 doesn't trick you and if you want a time limit just turn off your falshlight and wait until it's turn off before going into the hiding spot, also don't try to rush anything A-90 can appear randomly and 2 times in the same room

İ think it is so hard to notice A-90 on the screen, because he enters attack mode so fast.
Resume of the guide: have good reflexes and prioritize stopping rather than running in case A-90 spawns with another entity, you are welcome 🙂
Very helpful advice thanks mate 👍
Thank you for your hard work!
This entity are capable of killing anyone at any moment, yet he don't once you stop moving, he even show us a stop sign to warn us. i always wonder why does this entity become very aggressive when someone move.
So this entity more reasonable than the other entities atleast, because there literally nothing stop him from killing you, as he can appear at any time at our screens. you also can see how enraged he is when he jumpscare the players.
Besides the only entities that show emotions of angry so far are only A90 and rush if I'm not wrong.
Idk rush, i think it's laughing. And figure is really angry.

a piece of advice make sure that when you enter the A-000 doors you have 100/100 of your life because when you enter the a-000 doors the life does not reset so if you do not have all your life point when A-90 appears he will kill you in one shot if you move be very careful to search the drawers for healing if you have lost life points before going to doors A-000

Tysm that's helped me a lot
You forgot that a-90 freezes both a-60 and a-120 until it stops attacking
It only slow A-60
_What I've Analyzed so far:_
1.) *A-60 spawns on Room A-60 above and A-120 can attack in Room A-120 above while A-90 can spawn in every room but usually attacks/has a higher chance of spawning in rooms A-90+.* The second is the reason why it can spawn on every room.
_Source Clip: _*_4:05_**_ (Look closely at the right of the room, you can see a locker._*_ This was in room A-18), _*_4:48_**_ (Look at the left, there's another locker)_*
2.) I've replayed most of the clips shown here, and I noticed that *it mostly appears on nearby lockers.* So *during times when A-60 or A-120 attacks, there's a chance that A-90 also spawns* since you need to hide in a locker to avoid the incoming entities.
_Some Source Clips (not all of them shown here, but there are plenty): __1:06__, __1:29__, __2:06__, __2:41_
3.) Stopping too early right after A-90 spawns may result in an instant kill. I've experienced this once with other people and it instantly killed me while we were trying to hide from A-60, even though I stopped. It was probably because I was collecting coins that time (A-90 appeared for a split-second after not moving for some time, so it inst. killed me). If you can't tell if *it's an instant kill, it's when your health bar immediately goes down to 0 when it was supposed to be full and the screen did not ever show A-90's jumpscare. (In some cases, this might be a bug or causes of lag)*
_Source Clip: __2:29_
4.) *Chances of entities spawning gradually increases as the more rooms were passed,* so like room A-300 which means entities will start to pop up more often than the rooms A-200 below.
_Source Clip: __5:11__ - __5:44_
5.) *Stopping for a while after passing by a locker might delay A-90 spawning.*
_Source Clip: __4:20_
_To summarize:_
1.) *A-90 can spawn at any room, but usually appears after room A-90 and above.*
2.) *A-90 mostly spawns on nearby lockers even during the attack of the other entities.*
3.) *There's a bug that can instantly kill you, or maybe stopping too early and lag might be the reason for this during A-90's attack.*
4.) *The farther rooms, the higher rate of the entities spawning more often. This gradually increases as more rooms you've passed.*
5.) *Pausing delays attacks of A-90, which makes it uncertain to know when it arrives after passing by one of the lockers.*
_Tips to avoid A-90:_
1.) *A-90 can appear everywhere on the screen, and you can also hear heartbeats upon it's arrival (maybe your character's the one making it) before it can attack you. So headphones can help on noticing it's attack by hearing the heartbeats or by noticing the entity's icon.*
2.) *We only have about 0.50 - 0.80 sec. to react on A-90. The red stop sign it shows is when we'll have to not do anything, such as moving, rotating (moving cursor) or maybe pressing any of the keys. So it's better to not touch your device or the mouse until A-90 is gone. Pressing anything, moving during the stop sign will trigger A-90 and take 90% of your health.*
3.) Since A-90 mostly appears in lockers, *expect an A-90 attack whenever you pass by or walk into a locker.*
4.) *Be aware that A-90 can spawn at anytime on any room.*
5.) *You might need good reflexes and a stable ping/Wi-Fi* to easily avoid the entity.
6.) A-90 is like a gateway guard. *It forces you to stop moving even during the times A-60 or A-120 attack, delaying you from hiding from the incoming entities. It tells you to be patient, and don't panic. With enough patience, it'll be easy to avoid A-90's attack. Patience is the key!*
If you don't understand this completely, I suggest trying it on the actual game to see how it goes. As for No.3 in the 1st section, I don't really have that much evidence if that was the reason why it instantly killed me, so I might take more tries to understand why. As they say, *the more mistakes, the more you learn! (Source clip: **7:38**)*
*(I had to delete the other one since it keeps saying "returned error" when I try to edit the comment but here is the finalization of it but anyways, good luck on the game!)*
propably insta killed you because u were collecting coins i never ever died from stoping to early
Btw A-60 can spawn before 60, I had him spawn at A-07.
@@toastmlg2310 it was probably because of wifi lag my bad so I couldn't react quickly

i died instantly by a-90 too
you probably got hit before u entered rooms, the visuals are just broken
same lol
pov: you dont have good reflexes
ok but a-90 is like the worst entity in doors and no one can tell me otherwise
Hes screech except he does way more damage and can appear at any time and has no indication, so I agree
@@coolchipmunk2138 frr
i never thought of him like that
@@ProtoProductions i never thought of him like that beacause hes SO MUCH WORSE than screech he teams up with the other entities like a-90 + a60
he apears in ever room and theres a 1 second window for dodging the attack when screech gives u like 5 seconds
@@toastmlg2310 That is true. It's more like 8-10 I feel like with screech. Screech can also team up like it appears when your in a closet when rush is going sometimes but its very rare, A-90 does it more often and is such a handful
Thank you 😊❤
Your guide was really useful man thanks a lot cause I hate this entity so much and dead from it millions of times

This looks so nice to look at when everything is so shiny!!!
I’ve had so many instances where I got in a locker as it was attacking and never took damage. The timing is so unbelievable. Other times it’s attack was over and I still took a bit when moving again. Idk how or why but the pain and suffering I went through to get to A-1000 was so worth it in the end
THANK YOU 😊 SO MUCH:D
