There are lots of videos out there showing you how to do this... but thought we'd show you once more! This is our ATM high school location, where we have our Genmega 2500 series. It's not super hard to load the ATM itself. Cash goes into the cassette, which is in the vault. Just open it up, take out the cassette, put the cash in, close the cassette, put the cassette into the vault, close the vault, close the machine and boom! We may do videos like this from time to time, or may even do a video tutorial of every aspect of the machine itself! Drop a comment below what you would like to see next. 👇

I been at it for about 5 years now. Looked like some of the bills were stuck up on the right side in the cassette. Make sure all bills are down and unfold any corners to help prevent frequent service trips to the machine. Also when u close the safe door give it a little pull test to see if it locked. Saw them a few times before where the lock didn’t actually set. Tks for sharing.

I suggest going into quick settlement first to add to cassette, same as with Hyosoung. Also you shouldn’t put any bad bills in to begin with. Filter through cash really well to cut down on rejects or stuck bills. My biggest thing is… how is this at a High school!? We could never do this here I don’t think 🤣
Yes! I'll typically add the cash first regardless just to get it out of the way and let the bad bills hit the reject bin in the vault (not including any obvious eyesores) then do a trial day total before i cancel out and leave! great input

I use to get alerts to my phone when I add cash to atm, my gm2500 doesn't show me the right amount of cash added what am I doing wrong?
Who is your processor? Usually you should be set up with low balance alerts to your text or email
It needs to be the total amount of bills in the machine, not entering just the number of bills (in addition) to what’s inside of it already. Does that make sense?
Is this a good machine? How many years before you started having problems with it?
Thanks do you push the back button until it gets back to customer use screen. Also how many ATMs do you have do you do that fulltime
yes we recommend doing a trial day total before canceling all the way back, which will send a communication to the processor (host) to connect
We partnered with a larger company! have about 500
dude loving the high school idea - totally outside the box but i guess heck theres always vending in the schools right? may i ask if there was a lot of red tape to cut thu or a certain fee agreement you came to??
Great question Shawn! Yes there is always vending, as well as sports games, extracurricular activities, lunch, school fees, locker fees, etc. This particular location already had a vending machine, but it wasn't in order (including the entire district). There wasn't a lot to work around as they were desperate for a new provider. Standard sharing fee of $0.50 with wiggle room to move up based on transaction volume. Hope this helps!
nice man thanks for the quick reply . so .50 going back to the school district , plus i was thinking well, no other way to put it , kinda like giving back to the community , but with clear understanding we are running a business . And i would assume $10's ( as opposed to $20's a little easier on the refill and better option for high school kids? @@NationalATM

Can I ask, how many transactions on average do you get in a month, before the Covid shut down? Also what is your Transaction Fee?
@@andrewschneider9482 Hey my man glad you love the content! High schools are a great one if you can get one in there. Before schools shut down we were on track for 75-100 transactions... everything you would hope for in a decent location! We did a trial period for the first month at $2.00 and plan to bump it up for the whole district this fall!
Can you check your balance online/app without going to the ATM?
Yes! It’s called the back office, and every processor has one for you to view etc
How you pay to the owner of the place . Can you make a video explaining that . Do you pay him with cash or you deposit direct to his bank account

How did you get a hold of the decision maker at a high school and who was it?
Hey hey! It was the Assistant Principle originally, and then the finance gal who ended up making the (collective) decision. We just called and asked!

How much money do you need to load an ATM when getting started?
Usually operators first starting out would do well with a few thousand in vault cash. We started as low as $1,000 per machine until the surcharge (transaction volume) built up, to help the vault cash build up! Does that make sense?
What is a good surcharge to set for the machines that dispense 10’s?
I would say that setting your surcharge based on denomination shouldn’t be the determining factor. You should set your surcharge according to the volume of the location or how many transactions it’s producing. Standard is $3.00 but you could look at your area to determine what other people are charging on the machines

It will depend on the location you find! The average ATM nationwide does 200-300 transactions monthly
How come there is only 10s. How does it know the difference between a 10 and 100 dollar bill.
The machine will know this upon programming it at setup! This location just happened to be only $10a

It’s an online login! Each ATM person has their own

hey! Just walked in and asked to speak to the principle or head of finance! They had an old one that didn't work in the lobby
Why do they build atms so cheaply as a locksmith I could have that drilled open in 5 minutes or less
