That's why on the contrary with the private space, e.g. houses which are clean the public sphere looks like a huge dumpster. In developed countries there is a certain moral code associated with keeping the public spheres clean. Germany was bombed down after ww2 but it didn't turn out into a dumpster.

I would recommend you to checkout 2 main and holy cities Najaf and Karbala in Iraq. These both are holy sites to visit for Shia Muslims although person of any religion cast or region is welcomed there and people treat you nice. I don't know why you only show checkpoints, police, crowded streets or ugly places. This is clearly deliberate. Because Iraq is the cradle of civilizations and has mountains, sea, rivers, forests, desert, antiquities, sanctuaries, tall buildings, heritage and most of its streets are beautiful and the people are respectful, friendly and generous. It is the first country in generosity and respect for guests and the most beautiful country I have visited. But you have conveyed a bad image of it unfortunately.
