A wonderful memoir. I've been listening to quite a few of these on youtube of late and this one so far has been the best.

Wow, he knew nothing, didn’t even know the words: ‘concentration camp’. 😂 And the Allies treated him poorly! It’s a darn shame the French allowed this specimen home to Austria.

This memoir was interesting, but any historical value derived must be balanced by the justification of the author at the end of this narrative to shift the blame for the holocaust, and the German aggression and occupation of Europe, to the Treaty of Versailles at the end of WWI. To be clear, there is no justification for Germany's actions during WWII. I find this repugnant.
