Yesterday I had 10 top teeth prepped for new crowns, I didn't have gum surgery like you shared in this video, but my reaction after my procedure was just like yours in this video.Your right in that the numbing shots work very quickly. Two front teeth upper. Broke tooth 9. Will have clinical crown lengthening on tooth 9, and cosmetic lengthening on other front tooth, to cosmetically match tooth 9. The clinical crown lengthening cost $ 950. Initially, I planned on an implant for tooth 9. A previous molar implant went well, 3 years ago. Consulted with the oral surgeon that performed that implant. I decided against that. The surgeon said the front tooth #9 implant would be an 8 to 9 month process. I would need my general dentist to fit me with a flipper front tooth, in lieu of having an unsightly gap for 9 months. A neighbor has a permanent flipper, after a failed implant. My dental insurance would pay about 50% of most implant cost. The surgeon uses the cone beam X-ray which in 2016, cost me $300, and is not covered. The temporary flipper, would cost between 300 to $500, is considered cosmetic, and not covered. In my clinical crown lengthening, I had a root canal, will be getting the crown lengthening, then a post and stem, then the crown. About a 4 month process,with a silly looking temp. Estimate $ 3500. My cost after insurance. $ 1300. The crown lengthening dentist, is the wife of my primary dentist, and offered to do the cosmetic lengthening on the other tooth, at the same time, free of charge. I accepted that offer and will have both upper front teeth crowned, as the other was also chipped. Should be a good match,

I just had my surgery and I started crying A lot bc I was so scared. I barely stopped but I cried for like 2 and a half hours. I was trying to be brave but I just got too scared. It didn't hurt when they started the procedure but the shots were annoying.

Mine did but that was because I wore them so long - only meant to be like 2 weeks.

My numbing wore off too when I was getting prepped for 6 crowns, hurt so bad, but I hated the shots so I stuck it out lol 😭

Looking for a dentist to use GAS! Not a fan of the needle...u don't hurt as much with gas, they still needle u, it doesn't hurt as bad
