  • Amazingly simple cheat sheet. This is the fastest, easiest subnetting video. After watching this 16+ minute video you will be a sub-netting guru. I walk you through the process of setting up a calculator on a scratch paper you can create during a test or lab. No difficult formulas to memorize. Sub netting a network is required in most networking classes. If it's not required it will give extra credit that might increase your grade point average. Link to Class B and Class A subnetting and VLSM, turn on your annotations to see links. how to subnet

    I cannot thank you enough for the help this channel has provided me. I have been a hardware tech for over 10 years now and kind of been a little intimidated by the networking scene. I passed my network test exam but it did not cover this portion to the extent I needed. Several network engineers tried to sit me down at work and explain it to me but do not know my math background or lack there of. Thanks to your short video I now understand it very well, online campuses should be calling you left and right... thanks again :D

    • @FaithwalkerTodd
      @FaithwalkerTodd  8 лет назад +2

      I suggest you watch all my subnetting playlist, that will teach you class A and class B as well. Then I suggest you do as many practice questions as possible before the exam. Time yourself, and see how much you improve after 50 questions. The answer to your questions depend on you, but as an average, if you practice, you'll be doing them in your head in seconds. The cheat sheet just leads to that over time. You see that a /28 means networks in multiples of 16. That is all explained in my longer class C video. Let me know if I can help.
