Man, the PTSD that Sasuke left us is real!!!!! Because of that, the first time I watched Black Clover I couldn't trust Yuno until the end. It scared me and I felt uneasy.

Healthy rivalry vs toxic rivalry. Ive said it before but its something black clover gets right compared to other popular shounen. Or rather does in a better way. No disrespect but i am so tired of the brooding angsty mean rival type. Sasuke took all the good will out of the trope for me. Vegeta and hiei were enough 😅 thats why i like black clover even pokes fun at it in petite clover and clearly tried to trick the viewer in this episode before yuno reveals his true feelings into expecting the usual stereotype
Like how Noelle is the archetype of the tsundere love interest but her love for asta and her friends she meets only serve to strengthen her character in a positive manner unlike her relationship with her siblings. Good deconstruction of tropes
Yeah finral and langris' relationship is sad really but one of my favourites in the show. It gets delved into later but they really never had a shot at being normal since they actively pitted against each other😩
