Well Black Ops 1 was more serious in this way. But the characters are still funny, really funny. I just love the Black Ops 1 Crew, funnier than the Black Ops 2 ones. And I like Samantha more as Announcer, got something cool when you hear her say "Fetch me their souls" or "Lightning... *IS* *POWER*" But you are right, Richtofen is the best man, I love him, he's my fav! But he lost a bit of his "touch" in Black Ops 2 in my opinion, he's not this insane like in Black Ops 1 :(
The reason this dosent sound sound like Samantha is because treyarch didn't want us to know that a little girl was behind zombies (that's sad) until moon was released. They wanted us to think it was some demonic zombie dude. But nope...just a little girl.
Late af but the Zombie announcer was added in Verruckt in WaW. It was never intended to have a backstory, it was just for creepy effect and atmosphere. It wasn't until Shi No Numa where they officially started creating a storyline for Zombies.
I never noticed the fire sale one where she says "Attention zombie shoppers. Time for a fire sale, until the music stops, box pulls 10 dollars at a convenient location near you!!!! 'Creepy laugh'." It's really creepy actually
