Treacherous Winter Trek to the Off-Grid Cabin

- We set off for our first snowmobile ride of the season on the tangled trails that lead to my off grid cabin. The trip doesn't go as planned, but we make it to the cabin under the full moon and take a brisk icy dip in the stream the next day. It was an invigorating introduction to the benefits of a cold plunge and a great couple days of simple winter life at the cabin.

Your videos are so calm and peaceful, and remind me of my youth growing up in north central Pennsylvania. I’m 67 years old but when I watch your vids, I feel like I’m a teenager again, hiking the hills around the farm, sledding, tobogganing and generally enjoying nature. I live in the Pacific Northwest, now, in a suburb south of Seattle. I’ve been trying to talk my better half into getting a small piece of land and building a cabin, but he’s 15 years younger than me and deep into his career, so it will be a few more years before we can do that. Keep making these wonderful videos, and just a suggestion: maybe add an episode number to the title so that we can watch these vids in their proper order. Thank you again!

That is a long ride out to the cabin! Having so many trees down and the old road in poor shape is tough on you both and your machines. Wow. The Stone house or mill was a great discovery. p.s. #SalishSea mermaid here (born n' raised on the infamous BC islands plus blessed to have lived Long Beach/Tofino) so cold water plunges were the 'norm' .... that said one does not need to be w/out 5 or 7 mm (yes am CDN) neoprene booties or socks with grip bottom. Also as well as gloves & lobster claw or reg. gloves. Much 'wild' swimming here off shore...we be cr-cra, haha. If you have mentioned gloves & booties on it then allows for even a longer and safer entry/'session'/exit. If you take warm water thermos with ya...pour water into neo. gloves/booties b4 go in. It just makes things even more sublime. Some of worst accidents pple have is the exit after losing feeling in da feetz. I've witnessed. Fun to see ya in all the special places in your neck of woods. Continued best.

Since you have so many Milwaukee tools you should get the M12 stick transfer pump to make getting water easier and less dangerous from that river! Love the video!
I have that pump.. but that would be far more work setting up than walking down to grab drinking water by hand

I understand the healing of ice cold plunges, & love it…I train jiu jitsu & I’m 46 yrs old,I don’t have access to a cold plunge, but cold showers are very healing too…great for inflammation & blood circulation…thx for yet again another fantastical video..👍🤓💕
