Figured I would watch the Video to see If I could do myself and save my son some time, made it easy to understand and I was able to do myself. My husband would be so proud!
Thank you so very very very much Yes..after 30 minutes trying figure this out..with no success I found you I did easily following your instructions..in 10 minutes Thank you
2012 s60 owner here, idk if its cause i have a slightly different model or because its not the same year of car but the fix is slightly different. its all exactly the same until you get to the actual bulb unlike this video you have to twist it before pulling it out. or you could do what i did and just take off the little metal housing the bulb is held in
I broke the housing by pulling out the bulb. Mine should have been twisted about 60 degrees counter clockwise to release the bulb. Epoxy and duct tape don't fail me!
Isn't clever engineering great? I hadnt a clue what setup they used but said to myself if volvo cant do it, nobody can! They've a reputation of being a bit of an old man's car, but feck it ld love one of them some day. 40s now so l probably qualify!! 😀
With all the other complicated parts to replace/remove on this car I’m glad to see this was so simple to do. Thanks 👍🏼
Cheers Danny
Thanks man, took me 5 minutes doing it myself after watching this video. My 2012 T5 took an H11.
Thanks for the nice comment Tyler
Cheers for this. I looked inside the engine compartment and had no idea where to start. You made it seem the easy job it is.

Looks straight forward thanks Gerard Burke for the video
Hey bro thanks for the video. You saved me $70bucks. After watching your video left my mechanic went home and did it myself 😃
Brilliant video, thanks a lot, saved my utter confusion at looking and seing zero space to work in! Wish the back lights were that simple!
🙏🙏👌
Any chance you can make a video on replacing the small parking lights that are separate from the main assembly?
Just replaced both bulbs, thanks for the video 😁
Amazing, you just saved me $$$$! Thanks
Thanks for the guide!
👌👍
You the best dude. Saved me headache.
Cheers Fargeto

yours probably has the bixenon bulbs. it’s standard on the t6 i think, that’s what my grandma’s has
Great instruction - now I have a fixed lamp.
Brilliant video. Much clearer than the instructions on Volvos website which neglect to mention that you need a T20 driver.
Thanks!
Thank you
@@GerardBurkeBurkesGarage No. Very much thank you!
That's quite a simple yet clever design, I can imagine the heartache if you didn't know how.
Trust me, I was panicking 😅😅
They learned from when they upgraded the previous models and it required either baby hands or removing the bumper
Thank u very much🤝
Great info Gerard I would never had known that, I know European cars can get a bad rap, but that's clever engineering
Fair play putting this up. Thanks
No Problem
How do you change the orange eyebrow bulb? I can't seem to find where it goes in the back of the headlight, i can access all other bulbs
Are the headlights adjustable.does it have an adjustable screw to raise or lower?
Thank you. That made it easy for me to do it.
Thank you for this video !
Thanks Askel
Great little video Gerard! Thanks for the help 👍
Cheers Graham
Great this video!
Thank you!
Do you have a video for 2006 Volvo S60? Need to replace the passenger front side marker bulb. THx!
You da man ! Thanks !
I broke the housing by pulling out the bulb. Mine should have been twisted about 60 degrees counter clockwise to release the bulb. Epoxy and duct tape don't fail me!
Thank you
👍👌
Thank you! I wish all headlights were as easy to replace the the Volvo's.
Happy that it helped you out
Excellent, thank you. I'd heard horror stories about replacing bulbs on Volvos but this seems ok!
Thanks for the comment Sean
I've now changed both dipped bulbs - with ease, thanks to this tutorial.
Saved prob upwards of £30 if I'd had to go to a garage 👍
Have you tried the Led Conversion kits available in the market? Looks pretty awesome
They look good, but are illegal in some countries, and with cheap kits the light amount does not get better.
Does this work with s60 2007 i havent done it yet but ima do it soon please tips!
Thanks !
Thx
How do you replace the flasher?
what can i do if my headlamp is fogging ? ;/
how to replace the light next to this?
You hardly know the size of the torx screw? Want to buy a set online for the job and want to make sure I get the right one! Thanks
T20
Somebody know how to replace the smaller light in the middle?
Why are they making it so complicated in newer cars? I have an old V70 from 1997 and I don`t need any tools to change it
Isn't clever engineering great? I hadnt a clue what setup they used but said to myself if volvo cant do it, nobody can! They've a reputation of being a bit of an old man's car, but feck it ld love one of them some day. 40s now so l probably qualify!! 😀

Excellent! Many thanks 👍🏼👍🏼
