Just my 2 cents: Renault Talisman (with all options) is TOP. But it is not selling in UK ;) Megane is SIMILAR to Talisman but just similar. 1st thing - it is smaller than Talisman and lower version of it. Talisman is High End car and I really love it. It is pity that you can`t buy it there because it is the best of all Renault cars (if we don't count Alpine A110) :)
How many are you paid to dare pretend that all the german car from vw (using polluted motors) are much better than all others ??? Shame on you... If you're paid through the publicity's in magazine and do not have the opportunity/capacity to tell the truth about this réality, then change ur mind and job .. it will be better for car's community !
Fountoulakis Markos why though? I may be getting the talisman 2018 or megane sedan 2018, I'd like to hear what most people hide. All I've heard is there are some hard plastics and I don't find that too bad. Please do assist me as I want the full picture. Thank you
Ahh it takes to much effort to maintain a car which has too many complicated electronics. In Renault Megane 2 case in order to change a frontal bulb you need to visit dealership/or car electrician.Polen Filter was an adventure ,remove the glove box ,enter in the foot rest area with the head remove plastics etc.Actually with no profanity this complication extended to megane 3 .In Renault Megane 2 the dashboard flickering once in a while at it's own will. Once stealership forgot to put oil after an oil change to my Megane 2 .Thank God I understood it fastly!Unfortunatelly they got their money. In Renault Scenic 1 was a different story. In extreme cold weather boot could not open , overlock could not also work, electronic harness simply sucks(that is applicable to all three cases Renault Scenic 1 & Megane 2/3)After some time I began to change by myself at cost of my time ,bulbs ,filters ,oil cranksaft sensors or ignition coils because as I mention dealership is an actual stealership. When I bought my second Renault ,I was thinking that Renault/Nissan alliance must have solve most of the electronic inconsistencies.Prooved wrong!
Fountoulakis Markos wow you know so much about a car !! It’ll be my first car, if I do get it, and I only knew sometime back that you could actually open up the car on your own for minor issues such as changing the light bulb. This has never been done in my home because they wouldn’t risk experimenting on their own and damaging their car permanently but I like risks 😋😋 what is attracting me to this car is the fact that it has good looks in a not so heavy price, if I end up getting quite an expensive car I'll regret it everytime I get a new scratch or I want to sell it and buy another one. Also, if assuming all car maintenance is done by an actual car electrician, and I don't have cold weather at all since I live in a desert, will there be any other major problem that I might face which should make me reconsider my choice? I'd really appreciate your time to help me out. Thanks!!
Love this car. Renault is doing good work
