Fun fact, verpine shatter guns probably use artificial gravity instead of magnetism. Skirata said that you could fire rocks out of his shatter rifles and they fired powder rounds silently.
From what I've read it's unclear if he was being literal about that or not. He might have been exaggerating since the multi-caliber bore he had added to his let it fire just about any chunk of metal he could find. Would be cool if i actually used kind of repulsor tech to fire tho.
Firing a rock does not necessitate using gravity, though - some designs of railgun use a conductive basket to fire a non-conductive projectile, optionally retaining the 'basket' to fire the next round.
My absolutely favorite Stars Wars channel on RUclips. You are totally fair and say things suck when you think they suck. You don’t use racism or misogynistic opinions as a reason to hate on any of the shows or movies. Keep doing things the way you always have. I appreciate it. My allegiance is to the Republic as well.
From what I've seen and read in the lore the Verpine Shattergun is more likely a Gauss weapon than a Railgun. In the Republic Commando books and it's said that Kal Skirata's shatterguns don't have any muzzle flash or report and makes no noise beyond that of the projectile itself which is impossible for a railgun system that spits a blast of molten metal and sparks as the projectile leaves the barrel. It's also able to fire projects that made of little if any metal, like the tracking powder Omega and Delta squad used to make rounds for tagging and tracking terrorists on Coruscant in the book Triple Zero. Most likely it's a Gauss weapon, a gun that uses powerful magnetic fields to levitate the projectile inside the barrel without it actually touching the inside of the barrel at any point. Besides the expense they are also rare because they are fairly fragile. As Kal said, they don't bounce.

Also, the fact that Chewie modified his Bowcaster, thank you Brian Daily for the name of the weapon and how it works, to fire Blaster rounds according to the Star Wars resource book.
I know of the power of the bowcaster from KOTOR!!! Zaalbar's bowcaster is amazing when fully upgraded for the early game and you can do this before you even get to Dantooine. Absolutely shreds enemies for a good while.
The bowcaster would be an awesome designated marksman rifle for wookies. I feel like new republic recruiters are always trying to convince wookies to be a marksman, or join a heavy weapons squad.
I knew you were a bro, but when you said the Jawas put Din Djarin's ship on cinder blocks, I was like yeah, he's good. I don't regret subscribing to you.
And also the Nameless. The Terentatek and the Nameless are very much living anti-jedi weapons. And honesty, if i heard and seen what they do to jedi, i would completely want to use the lightsaber rifle on them. (Personally, i would use it first on the Nameless. Those beings.....well....let's say they tend to drain the force from the one's they eat and trap their consciousness in their now stone bodies. And can't die unless something breaks the stone. At least the Terentatek will just kill you.)
First introduction to disruptor weapons was in the N64 game Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire. That kind of disruptor weapon is basically a semi-automatic hand blaster version of a Davy Crockett. It's no wonder the Empire banned them. Although based on how quickly they disintegrate a target from the Mandalorian, I'm dubious of the 'incredibly painful' part. No matter how the damage is done, the conversion is so quick the target won't have time to feel pain.
don't quote me on this but i believe i heard that feeling of the disintegration from a disrupter is much slower for the victim so what on the outside looks like a fraction of a second can feel to the victim like ten whole seconds of pain.
More advanced concepts should be explored in the new republic era with access to more modern technology. They could start using special kyber particles mixed with the tibana gas producing what would basically be called a dusty plasma in real life. But in this instance the “dust” is a magic space rock that produces energy from nothing. Creating a considerably more powerful blaster bolt. They could incorporate some kind of hyperspace technology into blasters allowing them to enter into hyperspace and gain extreme speed and momentum, programmed to exit hyperspace directly after clearing enemy deflector shields. Same thing could apply to missiles and be even easier to employ. It would just take a cheap hyperdrive unit in that case.
I don't think hyper space will ever be used in munitions because it wouldn't work in the gravity well of a planet, (so on or really close to a planet) and would be made completely null even in deep space via interdiction technology.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but canister shot did not die with the smoothbore cannon, as late at the vietnam war US forces used "beehive" rounds as anti-personnel weapons which were packed with flechettes
yeah, it's a fact. but they were mostly replaced by cluster ammunition, banned by some conventions but in real life, eg, nor the US or Russia, amongst others, have signed those treaties
As much as I don't like the sequels, the first one was pretty good especially that deleted scenes on "disarming" from Chewie, and I always thought Chewie shot green bolts?
So a number of these are not available off the shelf retail? That leaves a good market niche opportunity *if you can set up a automated production line.* #10 the Verpin shattergun, #9 the Wookie bowcaster, and #7 the Lightbow all could be in high demand if built in a standardised design at a reasonable cost (for their devastating performance). As for #6 the Geonosian sonic blaster, make a version built for common humanoid hands, or a simple ergonomic kit to replace the weapon's furniture for use by non-Geonosians. The #5 FC1 Flecette launcher is still very useful as a area affect weapon against multiple troops/targets. It was the indiscriminate use by terrorist that made it unpopular. [Apparently, unlike all the others mentioned (except #3), it was actually used against innocent unarmed targets...!¡! Who would do that with hand-held weapons?] And as for #3, the Disruptor Rifle, that's a secret production line only for special customers who pay quietly under the table. And it has no logos on it. So now you can make _a killing,_ .... so to speak, in the *weapons for the civilian* manufacturing industry. A very upright, honest, and _ethical_ line of work that is always in high demand throughout the Galaxy. Or you can only outfit your own forces (or species) with these, for that tactical edge. But selling guns to everyone _when there's no firearms restrictions,_ is the opposite of *a complicated profession.*
I'll add one a lot of people don't know about. Whether it would be worthy for the list, I have no idea: The Caelli-Merced Sentinel IV Heavy Blaster, mostly only available from Socorro (Star Wars d6 Black Sands of Socorro). It has more power and in skilled hands is more accurate than a DL-44. The main reasons it isn't a common sight is the fact that it is mainly available only on Socorro, and that it is a finely tuned weapon that only someone skilled in blasters can use effectively. That said, wearing one can be an indication that the person carrying it knows what they are doing and that they are not someone to be trifled with. In that regard, sometimes the best weapons can prevent a fight from beginning.
My all-time favourite blaster out of star wars will be the TL-50 repeater blaster. Specifically its like concussion(-esque) secondary fire mode. God I used that thing so much in Battlefront 2017.
most of star wars guns came from a uk fire arms expert who specializes in sourcing guns for shows. And so for the original star wars they just modified a few real fire arms and that's basically becomem a tradition
@@GenerationTech Right. I get the modification thing but these weren’t modified. They literally had AK-47’s. Guns that shouldn’t exist in a galaxy far far away. Considering how good the show was this was very odd to me.

There is a rifle variant for the E-web. It's a bit less powerful than the original, but makes out for portability. And there in the clone wars cartoon a missle launcher capable to target the gravitational signature of the victim. Lastly, there was a portable quad turbolaser cannon in the same cartoon. PS Don't forget the mortars from Umbarra.
It'd probably be at #11, but Han's DL-44 (which was built from a rifle as we saw in Solo) was also banned by the Empire for its ability to shatter Stormtrooper armor on impact.
🤔The other critical and amazing thing about the Bowcaster Is the fact that it is versatile and multifunction. 🖖😎👌 Modes of Fire and Ammunition options are A beautiful combination of form, function and utility. Mode 1 = Standard bolt with plasma sheath Mode 2 = Explosive bolt with plasma sheath Mode 3 = Plasma bolt only ( If you are out of ammunition but have power) Mode 4 = Physical Bolt, only. ( If you still have ammunition, standard or explosive, but are out of power or blaster gas) The different sized objects on Chewbacca's bandolier represented explosive ammunition magazines (large), standard ammunition magazines (medium) and powerpacks (small). A utilitarian and survival weapon hat takes full advantage of both its low technology and high technology features. A regular crossbow with the draw weight of a wookie behind it is a terrifying prospect. Adding the auto cocking feature puts this power within the grasp of normal size humanoids... 🫡
I'd like to see a list of the most reliable/elegant/versatile handheld weapons in Star Wars. Obviously lightsabers will be on that list but plenty of blasters and other melee weapons would make the list too.
Then there's the post TROS era, when thanks to the *Xyston* Superlaser technology becoming mainstream, weaponry became _orders of magnitude_ more powerful. This was the true _final order._ It also leads to a solution to the question of _"who shot first?"_ It wouldn't matter... as a Xyston blaster pistol would take out not only the entire Catina, but the entire block as well, killing everyone inside including the firer. And probably everyone they passed on their stroll to the Bar. "It's a Kieber crystal powered holdout blaster, for taking out skyscrapers in one shot..."
@GenerationTech, The people criticizing your channel and Disney for pointing out and building upon the Jedi Order's shortcomings should really be upset with George Lucas and his casting of the Order in the prequels as the hollow and hubristic bureaucratic organization that they were portrayed as onscreen. You and Disney are just following that vision to its logical conclusion. That prequel version of the Jedi was certainly not what I expected or wanted as someone who grew up on the original trilogy. However, since Disney didn't retcon the prequels, we're stuck with Saint George's version, which basically made them out to be inept warrior bureaucrats ... that run a school whose rules are contrary to just about everything we know scientifically to be good for children.
Bear in mind that the Quarrels fired by Bowcasters were not just coated in explosive plasma - they typically carried an explosive charge as well. The plasma was just to ensure penetration, so the quarrel could blow the target apart from the inside out. Also, that flamethrower? That Ki Adi Mundi deployed in a Geonosian hive? That's the local equivalent of a city, tightly packed with apartment blocks (the bugs didn't value personal space much)... How very 'jedi' of him to torch all those civilian bystanders who had the bad manners to be standing in a civilian structure he'd chosen to invade as a convenience.
I gotta say, one of the most infuriatingly false bits of lore from Legends is the idea that light sabers would have any trouble with solid projectiles. We see in ep. 1 when quigon cuts the blast doors that a lightsaber doesn't just melt or vaporize what it cuts, it annihilates it entirely, otherwide quigon's face would have gotten sandblasted by the backblast of his cut. And we see in Mandalorian that when a lightsaber can't cut a physical object it just stops entirely. So bullets would either vanish, or bounce off, thus they are no more effective than a blaster.
Some slugthrowers still work well no matter what. Scatterguns work well because a Saber can't block all all the pellets, forcing a jedi to use the force to catch them all, or take hits, which works well to break concentration. Likewise the shatter rifle works well because of its extreme speed, and bowcasters because the quarrels are explosive. None of which rely on the "lightsabers melt bullets into slag" lore.
Actually this has been seriously analysized by more then a few scientists an heavy science based channels an enthusiasts. Since it's Plasma based, even said so in universe, it's gotta be in some kinda Containment Field. An it'd have to be polarized an set to specific parameters to give it a saber shape. Or it'd basically be a very slim plasma-blaster flashlight. Which means it'd depend on either the ammo or how many was shot. Basically at close range you'd want to use some kinda flamethrower or radiation gun or some sorta shotgun or scatter gun so you wouldn't have to worry about the saber's ability to deflect the shots
@@rabbitknight87 yup, any wide area weapon would work against a lightsaber, be it a shot gun, a sonic gun, or some kind of scatter blaster. I think the shatter rifle would only really work against a garbage wielder who can't use combat precog correctly.
@@robertagu5533 nah, those "science" channels are full of crap, they don't actually look at what happens, just what they wish had happened. from what we see in canon (the movies) and lesser canon (the shows) the light saber is a solid weapon that works through annihilation rather than just thermal effects. so yes, a barrage of simultaneous shots or wide-area spray-type weapon would work, but only via saturation, not because of any inherent benefit of the type of projectile.

The actual RPG-7 isn't reusable. It's a single use launcher, which was specifically designed to give infantry squads a single relatively cheap and lightweight weapon that could be used against mid armored vehicles or static defenses like APC's artillery pieces, small relatively unarmored buildings ect. While there is a very similar looking reloadable rocket propelled grenade launcher the Soviet Union, and later Russian federation used, the RPG-29, it really hasn't seen widespread adoption primarily because the original RPG-7 is so mechanically simple and inexpensive to manufacture that at one time the Soviet Union was turning them out by the literal millions for a cost of roughly about 15 dollars in materials per unit, and just plain never really adopted a reusable launcher. Whereas even the cheapest reusable launchers the Soviets tried to develop cost significantly more, and required a new dedicated rocket design just to use. The RPS-6 is actually more similar in function to a proposed upgrade to the SMAW (shoulder launched multipurpose assault weapon) that would've turned it into a true multi purpose weapon by giving it the capability to fire small laser guided missiles in a low altitude anti aircraft role as well as the unguided rockets and optically it was originally designed for. That upgrade ended up never happening, mostly because the federal government decided they wanted to fund a dedicated longer ranged, heavier payload anti tank weapon configured for a top attack functionality, the Javelin instead.
You also still have the Carl Gustav Recoiless Rifle still in use (the US is upgrading to gen 4, able to fire a more wide range of projectiles with different purposes), which is not use and throw away say like the AT4 or even Javelin launchers (not including the separate targetting system)
@@bostonrailfan2427 To be rather blunt, if it was intended to reloadable, the thing would accept reloads. Videogame versions of weapons seldom resemble the reality. For example in videogames, Taurus and Heckler and Koech can build something that actually works.
@@bostonrailfan2427 Again, you are getting this mistaken with the RPG-29, a weapon that came out *decades* later, and doesn't even fire the same size warhead. The RPG-7 is literally a non reloadable launcher. That's kind of to be expected given it's in many ways a slight design iteration change of the RPG's 2, 3,4,5,6, and the RPG-1, which was a soviet redesignation for copies of the German panzerfaust, again a disposable single use launcher. I realize videogames often portray the two as being the same weapon despite them not even being compatible ammuniition wise but Jesus Christ kid, it's not like you can't easily confirm the fact that *the* most widely spread rocket propelled grenade launcher on the planet is a disposeable launcher.
The bowcaster is probably my favorite on the list and it has everything to do with Chewie. It looks like a medieval style crossbow used to repel a seige. And Din Djarin lifting the E-web in the Mandalorian was great. 38 kilos is not light. Those Mandalorians are stronger than they look.

Besides the Z-6 don't forget about the Republic Commando's main weapon, the DC -17m. It was nothing to sneeze at. But what gets me is why is there a lack of personally modified weapons? The the DL-44 Carbine converst to a DL-44 Pistol which in itself was a very powerful weapon and was also outlawed by the Empire because it could easily punch through a Stormtroopers armor.... but I am betting a Texas mesquito could also do that. (Yes I am from Texas) Anyway... might I also point out E-11 that Princess Liea used to blow a massive hole Wookiee sized hole in the grate which leads to the garbage compactor. I am not sure what setting she used but it wasn't set for stun that is for sure.
Idk the name of it but the clones had a 2nd rocket launcher, it was featured in the 2006 clone wars series and it was also in the original battle front games, I believe it could fire 2 shots before reloading
Not really important but in Star Wars Hunters, the character Sentinel carries an E-Web and has an in built shield in said turret. Edit: I just remembered another weapon that easily should've made the list, (and I'm sure you have your reasons for not putting it in.) The Duchess from Star Wars Rebels, I know it didn't actually happen but the show only showed us it targeting Imperials and Mandalorians, but imagine what else it could target, organic matter even, that would be truly brutal to all beings. Also kinda interesting that Mandalorians enjoy incinerating people so much haha.
A note on the disruptor rifle: Disruptor weapons were illegal long before the empire. Every civilized system had laws against their use or sale. Even the Hutts. Do you know how horrific a weapon has to be before the space-slugs-who-sell-telepathic-heroin decide 'Nah, that's too messed up' and make it illegal?
I personally believe that if the galaxy improved disruptor technology the rocket launcher used by clones during the clone wars would be obsolete compared to the disruptor weapon series.
flamethrowers are banned by the Geneva Conventions. in the war they were used primarily for clearing enemy fortified positions, tunnels and bunkers - that is, an engineering weapon. the fact that kiano mundi uses them in a closed space against the enemy, which, like Ho Chi Minh's Vietnamese army, lives in tunnels, is definitely a practical decision. in open space the flamethrower is useless and the effective range is not that great.

Paraphrasing SFDebris:
"A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense. *Never* to attack.
"For that, the ***flamethrowers*** we have, yes!"
I love democracy
Who are you and what are you doing here😂
My only gripe is he gets too political *insert me clicking on the most political videos and go bleh politics*
Star Wars Teary is still crying
Clearly you haven't heard him rant about dolphins 😂😂😂
The tl50 blaster rifle is great to have both blaster and granade launcher

The fact that the resistance bomber has a legitimate back story as to why it exists and why they use it makes me both love Star wars and also hate it

The e-web was used in Empire Strikes Back on the attack on Hoth against the Falcon
but they took way too long setting it up
@@GenerationTech so true. That anti personal gun made short work of the crew

The scatter blaster used by Baze from Rogue One would look effective if he’s on a Republic gunship
Yeah.. apparently, his training was crafting a belt fed blaster machine gun that has modes to turn it into an assault rifle an even limited sniper rifle
Crosshairs firepuncher blaster rifle is great weapon more versatility a blaster pistol rifle and mine launcher
Like the DC17m blaster rifle but with more attachments
And it reminds me of how the marval winter soldier launched a mine under nick furys vehicle
I don't think Geneva Conventions apply in space - or to disgusting bugs. A wise commando once said:

Another wise commando once said: " Was it red red green or red green red..? "
What in the blazes is that sax dance routine clip from!?
shreksophone
The bowcaster would be an awesome designated marksman rifle for wookies. I feel like new republic recruiters are always trying to convince wookies to be a marksman, or join a heavy weapons squad.
Love the sax and dance break :)
Keep doing what ya doing brother. Its the best star wars content on RUclips. I love you you think about the big picture. Anyway man keep it up.
I knew you were a bro, but when you said the Jawas put Din Djarin's ship on cinder blocks, I was like yeah, he's good. I don't regret subscribing to you.
What were the jedi hunting that could necessitate the lightsaber rifle? Terentatek come to mind...
My Top 3:
-Tenloss Disruptor Rifle
-Merr-Sonn PLX-2M Portable Missile System
-Stouker Concussion Rifle
That leaves a good market niche opportunity *if you can set up a automated production line.*
#10 the Verpin shattergun, #9 the Wookie bowcaster, and #7 the Lightbow all could be in high demand if built in a standardised design at a reasonable cost (for their devastating performance).
Who would do that with hand-held weapons?]
And as for #3, the Disruptor Rifle, that's a secret production line only for special customers who pay quietly under the table.
Which republic is your alliance to? New or old/high or both.?
I'll add one a lot of people don't know about. Whether it would be worthy for the list, I have no idea:
The Caelli-Merced Sentinel IV Heavy Blaster, mostly only available from Socorro (Star Wars d6 Black Sands of Socorro).
Good thing you also included urabesh numbers for the people who can't read high galactic
My all-time favourite blaster out of star wars will be the TL-50 repeater blaster. Specifically its like concussion(-esque) secondary fire mode. God I used that thing so much in Battlefront 2017.
Can someone explain to me why the rebels had AK-47’s in Andor?
most of star wars guns came from a uk fire arms expert who specializes in sourcing guns for shows.
Sound pushes Mass .it would making a lot vehicles easier on rockets but not replace them. Moving tha molecules and atom the over body would melt or shatter before moving
Wait what was the last one
@@eren34558 which one the mortar or the portable turret?
bonus points for the sax transitions
It'd probably be at #11, but Han's DL-44 (which was built from a rifle as we saw in Solo) was also banned by the Empire for its ability to shatter Stormtrooper armor on impact.
You forgot that friggin thermobaric munitions apparently also were a thing in Star Wars Lore. They probably also should make this List.😅
🤔The other critical and amazing thing about the Bowcaster Is the fact that it is versatile and multifunction.
🖖😎👌
Modes of Fire and Ammunition options are A beautiful combination of form, function and utility.
Mode 1 = Standard bolt with plasma sheath
Mode 2 = Explosive bolt with plasma sheath
Mode 3 = Plasma bolt only ( If you are out of ammunition but have power)
Mode 4 = Physical Bolt, only.
( If you still have ammunition, standard or explosive, but are out of power or blaster gas)
The different sized objects on Chewbacca's bandolier represented explosive ammunition magazines (large), standard ammunition magazines (medium) and powerpacks (small).
A utilitarian and survival weapon hat takes full advantage of both its low technology and high technology features.
A regular crossbow with the draw weight of a wookie behind it is a terrifying prospect. Adding the auto cocking feature puts this power within the grasp of normal size humanoids... 🫡
The star wars battlefront repulsor and the mandalorian vambraces repulsor are good weapons
Clearing groups in small spaces and counter jedi
I'd like to see a list of the most reliable/elegant/versatile handheld weapons in Star Wars. Obviously lightsabers will be on that list but plenty of blasters and other melee weapons would make the list too.
Love these type of videos, man. Keep em coming
I feel like the DC-17m could have been on this list…
Agreed Han using the bowcaster was the best part of the force awakens
Easily the best Star Wars RUclipsr of all time
Then there's the post TROS era, when thanks to the *Xyston* Superlaser technology becoming mainstream, weaponry became _orders of magnitude_ more powerful.
This was the true _final order._
It also leads to a solution to the question of _"who shot first?"_
It wouldn't matter...
as a Xyston blaster pistol would take out not only the entire Catina, but the entire block as well, killing everyone inside including the firer.
And probably everyone they passed on their stroll to the Bar.

However, since Disney didn't retcon the prequels, we're stuck with Saint George's version, which basically made them out to be inept warrior bureaucrats ... that run a school whose rules are contrary to just about everything we know scientifically to be good for children.
damn bro i caught his vid 1 min on upload W
@@Serbobiv123 except given characteristics... No... They're really not. Swords ARE a thing in their verse too.. an was for every bit as long as ours on battlefields. Truth is what is theorized is about as reasonable as it can get. Some science "experts" sure, they full of it, but there's several others with known degrees that did some research of they own. An make guesses based off what is currently known bout tech an generally scientific "laws" regarding things like Physics that HAVE TO be goin on to bring something like a Lightsaber out of science fiction an into our reality as a usable thing.
We're sorta doing it already anyway with things like Rail guns. We just have no way to make them smaller then about what you'd put on a tank or fighter jet/chopper or similar vehicle at its absolutely smallest since rifle an machine gun size is currently impossible. Probably where they got it from in most of the various media.
Looking at the hellish beasts the Sith had made in the past that could still be roaming around the lightsaber rifle feels like underpowered

10:52 Canister shot isn't a thing of the past, some tanks still carry it today, most notably the M1 Abrams.
great video as always !
You also still have the Carl Gustav Recoiless Rifle still in use (the US is upgrading to gen 4, able to fire a more wide range of projectiles with different purposes), which is not use and throw away say like the AT4 or even Javelin launchers (not including the separate targetting system)
dude, the RPG-7 is reloadable…that claim about how it’s intended to be used is completely made up
@@bostonrailfan2427 To be rather blunt, if it was intended to reloadable, the thing would accept reloads. Videogame versions of weapons seldom resemble the reality. For example in videogames, Taurus and Heckler and Koech can build something that actually works.
@ it does accept loads: have you not seen them? they attach the rounds directly to the front and fire!
Would flame throughers be used on more humanoid creatures
Is there any way to send a comment that he might actually read? No insults. Just...seriously. The man needs to know. He's brilliant, educated, he's got the platform, and I just want him to be the first major Star Wars youtuber who unambiguously calls out that Master Sol is a Sith lord. I don't say that lightly. The evidence is overwhelming. Why isn't this video out by now? If I don't see it by tomorrow I'm going to have to make an amateur youtube video just to say I beat him Gen Tech to the punch.
I crunched the numbers on Reddit once. There are handguns in Star Wars more powerful than IRL full-power rifles.
liked for the sax sample. BUT where the heck is it from?! my brain is wiggin out
I feel like Pazz Visla's heavy repeater should have been mentioned. I mean it was pretty effective against pirates and super commandos.
I think lightsabers count for this list but they are tame in comparison to this list.
TIE's spherical cockpit also make nearly every shot a glancing blow and those do less damage, and the e-web isn't handheld
I was always kinda bummed that when din went rambo with the e web that we didnt get the advertised "line of water balloons" effect.
Guess ill have to wait for that directors cut.
7:14 "This move was tactically... really stupid" 😂
Canister shot is still a thing. For tank canons and artillery.
Ah yes, the lengths americans go to, not to use kg's. Probably the funniest one yet, 10 bald eagles carrying a colt 45. Honestly hilarious XD
what about Vanguard Scattergun / ACP Array gun? I know it's not flashy, but it is one of the most reliable weapons on the market!
Also, on flamethrowers, most modern-ish flamethrowers can reach ~100 feet. Those that the Jedi used were puny
The us military still has canister rounds for the Abrams tank. Flechet shells are still in stockpiles though officially out of use.
Anyone else seen that meme of bad guys' aim in SW? It's mainly hilarious for the last one, there ain't no plot armour like beskar armour.
Even Jabba?
I personally believe that if the galaxy improved disruptor technology the rocket launcher used by clones during the clone wars would be obsolete compared to the disruptor weapon series.
You forgot the truly deadly piece of fruit thrown with your own arm. Those things could do 10 Hosnian systems at once.
where did that music come from
Any weapon can be hand-held if the situation calls for it
*Mando picking up the E-WEB with malicious intent*
I think these sorts of weapons promote the idea that the Star Wars galaxy is a dystopian one rather than a Utopia.
flamethrowers are banned by the Geneva Conventions. in the war they were used primarily for clearing enemy fortified positions, tunnels and bunkers - that is, an engineering weapon. the fact that kiano mundi uses them in a closed space against the enemy, which, like Ho Chi Minh's Vietnamese army, lives in tunnels, is definitely a practical decision. in open space the flamethrower is useless and the effective range is not that great.
