A classic moment of broadcast TV, an studio entire audience under the influence of Owsley Stanley's special LSD compound. Mr. Tom Constanten on the keyboards, during his brief run with The Dead. Met him in the 90's at a solo show in my hometown, and got to speak with him for about 10 minutes when he first walked into the the venue. That's Bob Weir on the acoustic guitar sitting on the floor. And there is Phil Lesh looking very, very on the Bass. Mickey Hart considered himself to be a Percussionist.
Glad you could do this. In an effort to dose Hef, and as payback for not letting Owsley "Bear" Stanley do the sound, he dosed the coffee pot with copious amounts of LSD. Hef never drank any, but Jerry and all the playmates did. Was a real party at the end, and Bear wound up getting to do the sound, because the CBS crew had drunk the coffee.

ok - you're beginning to dig into the fun "nuggets" of music that came 'round from time to time in our scene - check out the night when they invited newfound friend of the drummers' Hamza El Din (an Oud player) to come out and do one of his songs... "Ollin Arageed" which they then turned into their own song "Fire on the Mountain" - enjoy ruclips.net/video/NuqeM-mbXeE/видео.htmlsi=2wd1IukU70QFg-20
So weird. I didn't come to the States until 70. I know color tv was 66, not when they had that funeral for hippie-dom, Democratic convention in Chicago 68 with it's trial. Read Abby Hoffman's book I would have put Aoxomoxoa at 69. Oh well wait till the song is over and Google it.

Harpsichord played by Tom Constanten. Bobby also playing acoustic guitar on Mountains of the Moon
Love seeing Jerry smiling and bopping around
The Dead were playing "Turn On Your Lovelight" when Mr. Hefner was doing the close..
Also, they dosed the punch. It started to hit during St Steven 😆 Hilarious.

LOVELIGHT
😆 Jerry’s answer on the 2 drummers is epic.
As Jerry described it it was a fake party setup with people from central casting so they dosed the coffee pot and it turned into a REAL party
