Lol, the thing is everyone has their lived experiences and can relate. Let me just say being mixed I completely know where Reece is coming from with everything he's said. Posting some of those tweets, is brave - not sure it was smart, more for his own wellbeing, he must of known he was gonna seriously rub people the wrong way and face backlash.
Who beat who is subjective, in terms of "culture" yes Corteiz is beating MDV, but MDV isn't about "culture" is it. Numbers wise I doubt they're in the same fish pond. Fairplay to Clint, Corteiz is incredible the way he's marketed - hopefully he keeps evolving the brand and doesn't get caught in the culture trap too much - it won't last.

@@d.shockton Thanks for the insightful comment I really appreciate it, I don’t directly know where Reece is coming from experience wise but I do from another angle, and its not the first time I’ve seen thoughts like this, I will cover his rise separately at some point.
In regard to who beat who, yes definitely it’s subjective, thats why I wanted to create the video.
Both are winning in their own lane, something that I feel like brands of the future can learn from when building their foundation.
Thanks for watching, again I really appreciate it….

I think you could’ve spoken abit more about the numbers that Cortiez is doing.. MDV had its best year ever in 2023 financially speaking so not sure they really losing. Otherwise great breakdown man 💪🏾

the end of your video makes no sense, reece is still way more successful. and street wear is just as rooted in european fashion culture as what reece does, its just more bait.

@@SI-cd7xs Firstly, let me land! it was my first video and may not have conveyed the statement I was meant to make but I will revisit it in the future, I hear your points though.
There are no winners or losers clearly and its a point I was putting up for discussion, what kind of journey would you the viewer prefer?
You see I know Reece had one of the largest years of growth last year, but personally I love what I see from Clint and his team, they are building a brand story in a different way which is more accessible, relatable and close to home.
But thats not to say I don’t respect what Reece is doing in fact I really like it too, and don’t see his success/trajectory as a loss it just doesn’t hit the same for me.
Each to their own though, Thank you for watching and dropping a comment as I really do appreciate it…..🙏🏾💯

I wouldn't say he 'ripped off' anyone as thats a strong term but thats your opinion and I won't disrespect it, everyone has shared the same inspirations for years thats just fashion, people have even been inspired by his work and movements now that he has grown in the game, thanks for your comment and thanks for watching I appreciate it.....

Reece is a very miserable man that tweets “free game” just to only make himself feel better. He dissed George Heaton saying he helped represent make money and he needs to stop doing podcasts… George never took the bait and now you see that Reece is off socials. You gotta let guys like that checkmate themselves out the game.

I hear you, its funny as one of hie interviews they said that he seems or thought he was moody.
I never knew he dissed George Heaton though i'll have to look into that thanks for that and thanks for watching I really appreciate it.

To call Reece miserable is a stretch and you seem to be fan of his since you know so much about him and what he does, Reece left Twitter for other reasons and he’s back now. He has worked hard to be where he is and Clint too. And about him posting “free game” everything he says is facts. He has a lot of knowledge, too bad you letting whatever you have against him cloud your judgement.

@@Hers-j9m haha and look at him now starting a shop in nyc after dissing George for starting something in Los Angeles. I’m doubling down on him being a hater ass loser that envies George and yes i know a lot about him which also means i know the truth about him now. That free game is 1000% performative, you may not see it but i do because i know how he treats others doing better than him
