People just find it "rushed" because the last episode was presented as a series of small snippets inbetween Time and location jumps, people wanted to see his descent into madness more "fleshed out" but the thing is, we already saw his character Fall prior in the series so repeating it here would only have felt redundant to me

For season 2 we could have more filler of the last few episodes, like more with the over sea terrorists and then yuu’s power retrieval and the recovery from it.
