For me, Newage Bee have more charisma, and its proportions are closer to original toy. I also like more its car mode, that´s a bit less messy. By the way, if you want the whole poseability and proportions close to the cartoon, you have the Magic Square one. P.D. seeing the comparison between the Newage and Magic Square groups it´s clear that Magic Square TFs tend to be more massive.
The thing is in robot model the MS is tiny and perfect. Posing perfect, and the ex version holds up to the NA for paint etc. Vehicle mode for NA is superior but tests 1/10th of the posing.
Not bad at the scale on both. Now with the new Herbie coming I await that comparison video. Haven't tried my luck yet with magic square but well easily can see some pickups possible thanks to your reviews.
Magic square blows the doors off newage. No contest here. The bot mode looks so sexy on magic square. Nice long realistic legs. Newage is to puggy and just looks like an early attempt. Good then does not hold up now
Nice work as always Deluxe, you pretty much confirmed what I was already feeling for my collection. Magic Square looks pretty good but not clearly superior IMO from Flipper. I definitely prefer Flipper's chubby face and life-filled eyes. I'll be interested to see if the upcoming new NewAge version will replace him on my G1 Legends shelf.
Agreed but that's just me too. It's sorta funny how some other commenters are "MS hands down" and I'm sitting here thinking "if it can't beat a figure that's closer to 4 years old than not, yeah that's a bad product." I like MS but I tend to prefer their bigger bots like Optimus and Soundwave and I prefer the car bots from NewAge. Just recorded a comparison between NA and MS Bluestreak for Legends of Cybertron Reviews and it's insane how much better looking NA is in alt mode side by side.

On pictures, the MS bot proportion looks better, but the head sculpt looks quite off to me. I will wait for NA Herbie :)
I have Flipper and love it. Both this MS and the NEW, New Age are a tuff sale for me.

Tbh I'm not the biggest fan of the plastic magic square usually use
They using a different plastic now with Motormaster and cliffjumper. So hope they keep using it. Thank you very much for watching this. 😀

DESPITE being an older figure, gotta give NewAge the win. That Magic Square one is a huge & unusual fail with the faded lookin' plastic colors.
