    Just ordered mine. Can't wait to get them and see how it looks. Install looks pretty straightforward. I have 21 inch staggered wheels on my P85+ and this option should put a smile on my face. I'm usually riding in low setting so it'll be interesting to see how the new low will look. Thanks Josh.
    Received it today and installed it today. Wasn't too bad. I learned that the factory links have rubber tips which when you use a pair of pliers like grip pliers, it'll bend enough that it just pops off. Didn't take the front wheels off but I did take the back wheels off. I will say the links definitely lowered my car at least 1 1/2. A super great deal considering the results. I'm extremely happy.
    Update, just put 22 inch rims and yeah, she's looking even sexier. Best investment I've made with the links and 22's.

    Thanks! Very easy to install and looks great. I'm use to driving lowered cars, so the height at LOW setting doesnt bother me. Still lots of clearance. That being said, I do wish there was an option to keep the car at the HIGH setting, without it dropping down automatically after a certain speed.
    I was a little concerned that the links themselves were plastic as I've never installed any suspension components on any of my previous cars of this material, but based on the stock ones I pulled off, which were of same material, I no longer had any concerns.

    I ordered some before seeing it lower. I’m concerned that my regular drive height will be much too low! This looks like a 1.5” drop. The model s wheelbase does not accommodate that much for daily driving IMO. A SLIGHTLY lower drop option would be a welcome addition, please!

  • @666miguel99
    @666miguel99 Год назад

    Random thought. With all the stock components I drive my car in the lowest. After installing these links I'm pretty sure i will be driving my car at the beight setting above the lowest, why would I need an alignment...? These links are not replacing any mechanical components...

    • @Camille-LG

      I have the same question. Because on OEM smart air, the very low position add some camber, and my tires wear is very bad (like really dead inside, and brand new outside)

    What about the alignment? I have a 2018 Model X that I like to run in the Low mode. But, it makes the wheel alignment off? If I buy these lowering links, will the alignment be off?

      Anytime you run a car in low mode or lower a car with bags/coilovers/springs it's always recommend to get an alignment.

      You could do it with links or take it back to Tesla and ask them to fix it. We had a problem with our car being too low in the front and they adjusted it via software.

  • @MagnumResearch50AE

    Just ordered these. I have 21x9 In front and 21x10.5 in the rear. While driving on the highway if I hit a bump I already sliiiiightly rub when car bottoms out on bump and sliiiightly rub at full lock in front. I'm wondering, so each setting now is like one height lower in car setting screen? ( like high being normal now and normal being low?). I hope that normal setting is like the low because that's the setting I'm always in and then if I put in low it'll be the cruising show off mode😎 . Also a video of you starting at very high,and going through each setting as you get to low with new links and your new wheels. That would be awesome

    Just received your lowering links front suppose to be 62mm but mine are 58mm. Can you confirm if this will be a problem or possibly measure those what you sending out. Rear are correct 82mm. Just want to be sure before start installing them. Thanks
    Update: Front lowering links are supposed to measure 62mm and they are measuring at 58mm. I contacted The AP Guys and the response was, "You should be OK!" Well... no, it's not ok. I will end up almost half an inch higher on the front wheels than the rear wheels. Who wants to ride like that?
