@@80Vikram I think it's more about showing people what's possible, so you can then combine what you've learned and create your own stuff. It's definily not for true beginners. Probably just for false beginners.

I have been learning HTML, CSS and JS for quite a while now I have build some projects of my own. But now I bought the course and let's hope that all the projects in it (as well as mines) and the knowledge that I will acquire could be the start of my career as Front-end Developer. Thank you so much for the course, you are always inspiring me! Greetings from Bulgaria!

Hello, I have purchased this course on Udemy. I do not have a mentor and your courses are what helps me in reaching my goal to one day be a developer. Course 14 uses tag highlight. I want to use only the highlight tag to connect to an api. I have tried using setTimeout to get to it but am stuck with the conditional...if you are reading this please help me...should it be if (highlightTag(randomTag)) which I feel is incorrect as it selects all the tags. How can I specifically only select the highlight tag to connect to an API. Please help.

Hey Florin I have recently started doing this course. Expanding cards worked fine, but Progress Steps and Rotating navigation is not the way it should be. I have done the coding as per the lecture. But the steps doesn't move and navigation looks weird. Plz advice.

Very hard to help without seeing the code. Make sure you go over the lecture again and even try coding from scratch, then compare the two versions.

Hi Florin, bought the course. Was quite disappointed that you were not the one doing the course considering that you are the one who created the projects. Comments? I like to hear and see your thought processes when creating these apps and loved the videos on the subjects. Not so keen on someone else doing the courses, especially as you have already done them already? 😕

@@FlorinPop Hmmm you 'should' of done the whole thing Florin. 😕 It's about personality and way of teaching, etc. I think a lot of people will see this as a sell out and would rather have your whole process and videos as training. Brad is great, but there's no thought process for people learning just hard "now do this", "now do that" approach, at the speed of light. The beauty of your videos is the time spent researching, exploring, working out the best approaches, etc. THAT'S learning. This is not how software is created...

I have spent 2 weeks trying to figure it out and could only come up with something that did draw, but not very well and also ruined the Desktop functionality.

To get maximum value from this course is to do all projects yourself first and later see solution. Otherwise you will NOT learn anything and will jump into another tutorial hell. This course could have been better if Brad explained why he did particular step, I didn't find much value to be frank. To gain confidence and learn programming is to break big project into small chunks possible and find solution to each one of them. Until and unless you use your own brain to build, you won't learn anything. It will be like coping in exams looking at others solution without knowing why s/he did write particular answer.

    • @FlorinPop
