I think the complaint about the air in the upside down is right, because in S01 the air in there is actually toxic and everyone has to wear hazmat suits, while in S04 it just causes Steve to cough a little

Idk how people see S3 as bad. I’m obsessed with plot and stuff and if anything my least favorite season is S2 (not because of weak plot because of cat dying). I love the outfits in S3 and how Max and El are so close and I like the fun themes in the season.
I don’t think s3 is bad. I really liked it and the vibe it had. But for some reason I had such a hard time following the plot and I just couldn’t connect the dots. I feel like they left so much without any explanation?? I knew what was going on but I didn’t know why or how we got there. I don’t know. I had to watch some RUclips videos about it so I could finally understand. And now that I do understand I like it even more (: . And I absolutely fell in love with the new characters. But got so sad when they totally ruined Mike. He was literally my favourite character in season 1 and 2 and I feel like he just became a jerk after that. And in season 1 and 2 I was just hoping for Mike and El to get together, but in season 3 and 4 they just seem to be fighting all the time and I don’t even remember why I loved them so much :D. Lmao I don’t know what was even the point of this comment, sorry for taking your time
I dunno , mike always felt kind of like a controling and petty jerk ( arguing with Lucas , when the guy just makes fair points , ignoring will, attacking hopper like a maniac for keeping eleven from him) in season 3 it was just exasperated by the loss of elve , and i like that for once he has to confront his attitudne and change for the better

You know Steve wasn't even that bad at all in the beginning. He had potential to grow. If anything he was justified with getting upset because Nancy avoided him then got with Johnathan. I like johnathan and Nancy but love Steve and Nancy!

Enduring Setbacks
As a teenager, David was anointed as the next king of Israel. But instead of ascending to the throne in a blaze of glory, he spent years running from Israel’s current king (his father-in-law) who repeatedly tried to kill him.
During this time, David laments to God: he has honest conversations about his situation while holding onto the hope that God can-and will-restore him. Psalm 59 is the result of one of those conversations.
David’s laments allowed him to express his grief, cry out for justice, and remember God’s faithfulness. Focusing on God’s faithfulness reminded David of God’s character, and knowing God’s character helped him hold onto hope. That’s why he could say, “But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.” (Psalm 59:16 NIV)
Talking honestly with God helped David recognize that even though his current situation wasn’t good, God was still good, and still worthy of being worshiped. David believed that God was still in control, and that he would one day see the fulfillment of God’s promises.
And one day, God’s promises did come to pass. But God didn’t waste the years David spent as a fugitive: instead, He used them to help David become the leader and warrior Israel needed. The setbacks David endured actually strengthened his character and prepared him for his future purpose. Although his circumstances were painful, God was faithful.
And God can-and will-be faithful with your life.
When you place your hope in Jesus, you never grieve in vain because the God who is is also the God who will be. And He is constantly advocating and acting on your behalf. That’s why, no matter what you face, you can hold onto this hope: Jesus can turn your setbacks and sorrows into setups for your good and His glory.
God can take your pain and use it for His purposes. He can make a way through your desert seasons. He is your source of strength and your refuge in times of trouble. Nothing is impossible for God.
So today, continue to draw closer to Him, and look for evidence of His faithfulness. As you intentionally pursue God, look for ways to worship Him like David did,,,,,
