Just carry mace and a knife, it’s mostly targeted crime, but there’s always the chance of getting mugged so like I say don’t go out unless you got something to defend yourself with mace is the best as you just blind them and walk away, the murder counts been going up lately as well as gang activity and shootings, and no one walks downtown during the day it’s safer at night when the clubs are running but still you need to know your blocks, there’s many drugs and homeless they essentially took over our whole town, just move to the right area if coming here so your not having to walk around sketchy areas, PG is very large its larger then Vancouver in area and has around 100k people within city limits but services to over 320k people
Lots of safe areas only a few you wanna avoid just like most places our crime is just very high but like I say it’s mostly targeted or robberies, I feel safer here then i would in places like New York Chicago etc, but I would definitely class prince George as the most dangerous place in canada, it was always listed as #1 until they made it cities with a population of over 100k and we are about 3000 off from making the list but we still have the highest crime rate by a lot
