is the guitar in any special tuning? or just tuned half a tone down?

1 step down = 2 semitones = D tuning. Plus or minus 50 cents (quarter of a tone) as usual for Xasthur.

I thoroughly listened to Stream of Subconsciousness and realized there were no guitar tracks except 1 lead guitar riff (I think the main riff is played on distorted bass). So there's not much to cover, therefore I'll be moving to another song.
