"Sometimes you just need a little kick in the pants with some rainbow!" Girl you crack me up!!! This is such a neat card! I think you would like the new brushes! Especially as much as you ink blend it's a tool you will get a lot of use from.
I purchased the Picket Fence Life Changing brushes and they are simply the best. Go for it Laura, purchase them. Loved the way you put the arch in the card and on the letters. Darling Mother's Day card.
The colors were vibrant and lovely! Loved the card.
The brushes bring out the inner Laura Bassen for those of us who never managed to get a decent subtle blend with the foams. I almost cried when I blended my first good fade from soft color to white. 🤷♀️ #thingsonlycraftersunderstand ❤

The brushes are wonderful for light blending, and deeper shades also. I struggled to get lighter blending with the Ranger foam tool. Now I have the best of both worlds. If you don’t have any trouble blending, I wouldn’t think they would be so life changing for you?? I have cheap version and PF brushes. PF are definitely better. Much easier to blend and clean. Just statin’ my opinion.
You are the best ink blender I know and if you can do it with sponges then don’t waste all that money on the brushes. You make it look so easy with sponges, your an inspiration.
Beautiful card! Before I got the blending brushes I thought “life changing” was a ridiculous name. But then I got them! They are wonderful and yes life changing, at least when it comes to ink blending ability!❤️
I bought the Amazon make up brushes for blending and I LOVE them. My blending has been taken to a new level!
Another gorgeous card, Laura! I bought the Life Changing Brushes and LOVE them so much! No streaks, no blobs, just pure lovely blending!
Heads Up: With the Live Changing Brushes, the colors are much softer so you would have to blend longer if you want intense rich colors. Other than that, they're a joy to work with and I would buy them again in a New York minute :)

I decided to get make-up brushes at Walmart and try first. 3 pack for $4.97. They work great, so probably wont buy the expensive ones. Love your card.
I used to love playing Tetris when I was a kid! Of course, that was waaaay before smart phones, so I played on our computer. With a floppy disk. Yeah. :) I love how your card came out, Laura! Great colors, and I really like how you did the curved look on the letters and the background. As for the blending brushes, I got a set of vegan (I assume that means 100% synthetic) makeup brushes off Amazon. I haven't used them much, but they work really well. Of course, if you can do the magic you do with the blending foam tools, I don't know that you'd need the brushes. Personally, I wouldn't go for the life-changing brushes; I just can't see spending that much for them when the makeup brushes seem to work just fine. Anyway, just my two-cents' worth. Hey there Laura! You are so very cute!!! I bought the brushes and I love them, but instead of purchasing the entire set, I bought the larger of the set. I wish I had waited and bought them all. However, I have ordered another set similar on Amazon and I will get them shortly. Yes, they are amazing brushes, but you are amazing just the way you are! Thanks for sharing.

This is awesome! I went to Walmart and found a 4 set of makeup brushes (that are the same type of brushes) for $16.00 to try them out and I love them! I looked online last week to send a friend the link to them and they are on sale online for like $8.00!
I got the brushes from amazon half the price and they are a game changer you will love them. Love your cardso pretty as always

Picket Fences makes a 2 pack of those brushes, its a great way to try them out without that full investment. I liked them enough to buy two more sets of the two packs, beyond the original pack!
You are SO amazing with your blending, I don't think you need to invest in the blending brushes. I on the other hand, never mastered ink blending with the foams, so they were an amazing investment for me.
Gorgeous, have an amazing Mother's Day Laura. You are the blending queen and don't need the life changing brushes. They are life changing for those of us who can't blend :) Save the dollars and spend them on a spoil for you! That's my opinion anyway! :)

I am also resisting the Life Changing brushes. They are on the pricey side, I have no room and like you, I do fine with the blenders I have. If I were to get them, would I chuck out the blenders I have? Probably not. Thus, more clutter. I just don’t think they’ll change my life. Trying to resist..... Aside from that...very cool card. Thanks for sharing.

What a cool tetrus effect! i love the way you created it. I actually watched a video of card maker who suggested using makeup brushes. So I bought the Yoseng-Foundation-Makeup-Concealer-Powder from Amazon one and love it!

THAT is so cool Laura and YES, I remember Tetris! (I am really dating myself now! LOL) I think the Life Changing brushes look like a dream to use. I was lucky enough to find a large one at our dollar store here in Canada in the makeup section and it works great. I see the bloggers using them and I would love to have the whole set...Take the plunge!

Homage to Tetris is amazeballs! Well done! The brushes are fantastic. Would love to see a vid of you trying them out. Really curious what you would think of them. They do seem to apply the ink a little lighter / thinner then the pads but really do go on seamlessly. I dig the brushes but I feel both tools have their place depending on the look you are going for.
Also side note I have the picket fence four pack and then later bought a 10 piece (?) makeup brush from Amazon with marginal difference.
Don't buy the expensive ones! The mark up is much too high. The cheaper ones work great! Love your card!
Your card is outstanding ! As usual, your blending's are stunning. I've finally found a way to get better with my blending's : the PFS live changing brushes ! Of course, I still have to get plenty training to get better, but it helps, specially for the light colors, or to go from a color to white. So I cannot imagine what you would be able to do with them ! If you get them, that would mean for us even more training...... 🥴 🤣🤣🤣

what was the temporary tape you used or glue?
The brushes are great, but.... you will not get the same saturation of colour. On the plus side, the blending is less harsh & smoother. They are definitely a want & not a need.

Get the brushes! They really cut the time it takes to blend.
Don't buy those life brushes. I bought a set of Duorime makeup brushes on amazon. They were $7 for the set. They work great and so easy! You can try those and then if you like them move on up. Just a thought. Simon won't like my answer I'm afraid. 😬 but I love simon!!💕
You are the queen of sponge blending. You don't need them, IMO. We use them because we can't do what you do. It's our cheat. :-)
I jumped in and commented before I'd finished the video. Don't buy the full priced
"Life changing blenders", just buy the make-up brushes from China as they are about 1/4 of the price - you can buy 4 for the cost of 1 of the "name" branded ones. I can't afford to spend that much money on just 1 blender as I'm on a pension. Sorry if this offends - just delete me.
