I love this series of videos but I have to say there are some inconsistency for example diesels will out last gasoline engine by a long shot mostly due to diesel being a lubricant and are more powerful due to high energy density of this fuel. Note there's more energy in diesel fuel then gasoline
You are correct about diesel containing more energy than gasoline - my mistake. However, lifetime of the two types is less significant in a boat as the rest of the boat (hull, outdrives and superstructure) will limit the life span of the whole vessel.
Great info. Please keep creating these. They are very informative
Thank you for the video.I also plan on living on house boat.
I'm planning to buy a live aboard houseboat in the next year or so, and this information is invaluable. Thank you.
Great info! We love watching your videos and are learning a ton. Keep them coming!
Thanks! Will do!
I have found my new favorite niche

Hi, how are you? I bought a Stardust 50 and water is coming in from underneath, the wooden floor is all rotten and can be repaired.
Sounds like you might have a “steely” with corrosion issues. Remember, they rust out from the inside - not the outside which is always in the water. 😢
