Nice video,a injury last yr took me out of my KW T800 for life.My leg was messed up while unloading at work.So for now the only way I get back in a KW are vids like these.I could drive an auto, but to me thats not a real truck, and takes all the fun out of driving.Driving for me was my life,I delivered construction equip for a rental company,I used to love putting that KW where a truck had no buisness being, having people come to me and ask how th F did you get in there,or what not.Great vid, thanks
Everyone loves to talk about the engine and truck...but I want to say Kudos on the music! I caught that song that was on there "Please tell me who I ammm!" ...Great song...Great video..Thank you!
when i first started i always checked the mirrors when truning to know when to turn back and to see when my tires cleared the curb to make up for the off trackin but now i can kinda estimate how far to pull out and when to start turning same with backing too
Some background information needed, plz. What kind of cargo? Where this trucking exactly takes place? Subject of the CB conversation? And so on, this is very intresting clip in many sense.
@014034 go for it.im 22 and i got my CDLs.its ALOT easier than most people think.i was scared shitless when i first got in the drivers seat.but a few days of moping around in the yard takes care of that.and when your on the road, its one of the best feelings ever.if thats what you want to do,i suggest you do it.
@dudely666 i agree im 22 also and i am going though the process of getting my cdl right now. couple days in the yard going in circles and go hit the road. going for it has been one of the best choices i have made.
Great shifting. Truck sounds great, too. :) What year truck? From the dash, it looks like a mid '90s truck. Drive an '03 T8 myself, w/13spd RR trans. Hauling grain by chance?
@dudely666 yes.. definately.. it is well worth it. I am 33 now, but I was 20yrs old when I took my CDL stuff, I never drove a truck etc before and at first I was scared to death.. But once i got familure with it.. I enjoyed the hell outta driving. I had to take a medical leave for some back surgery, am thinking seriously about doin it again. :))
Watch his other video. He his hauling grain. From looking at the radio mic, it looks to be a Motorola radio, which would make it a VHF or UHF FM two-way radio.

Nice over-the-shoulder shoot here. BTW, what gears does this particular T800 pack under the cab (and sleeper)?
It sounds that this engine has an exceptional wrench momentum on the low revolutions.
where was this vid shot at?, cause i almost recognise teh radiostation , and a gorgeous machine as well

loved those slow and controlled gear shifts, not like that crazy erratic gear shifting and excessive engine revving you see on here

'02 or earlier. Dash was changed in '03.
It looks like a KW T-900...I drive a T-2000, and used to drive a T-600 with 48FT. reefer trailers.
