I wish you did videos more than once a week. I enjoy watching them, because they are peaceful. I like the no fuss, no frills approach you take. Your tips are practical and very easy to implement.
Thank you!!!!!! My daughter has some developmental delays so I work with her a lot doing speech and OT at home for summer break. Some of these things will help greatly for that at home. Thank you so much!
I picked this video because our grandkids are coming to visit and it’s a 18 hour trip one way! I’m going to collect some things for them to do in the car, but I’ll also send this to their Dad so he can prepare. I enjoyed you and the video so much that I’ll subscribe and watch your other videos! Thanks so much for sharing!
Girl you are amazing!!!! Thank you so much for this, we are headed out for a 14hr trip from CO to IL and your tips will be used! I loved that you included the road gifts, my mom would do that for us every summer on the same treck, it entertained us and made us feel special:) Happy trails!
My husband and our 3 year old twins are moving 8 hours away this is going to be a HUGE help! At 4:27 what is the item that is in her lap? I saw the cookie pans which is a great idea! but I noticed something different at 4:27. thanks.
Oh I’m so glad you found it helpful!! It is an activity travel mat that I believe we were gifted but I’ve seen them other places before. It has zipper pockets on the side for crayons and the top can hold down paper.
I remember Nguyen out with me and my cousins and my sister and my family we’re going on a road trip somewhere pretty far we are actually going to a hotel that was really far and we are also going to go to a pool done all we did was watching her iPad phones eat snacks and take naps and some potty breaks😂
These ideas are amazing!! Loooove the cookie sheet/magnet idea!! How genius. I did try to go to the link you provided for the 3 sectioned storage bag. But it keeps taking me to a Blood Pressure Kit? Lol
Hey so sorry about that! Here is a link to one similar to what I showed in the video. www.amazon.com/dp/B08R7BWHSC/?ref=idea_lv_dp_ov_d&tag=onamzlindsa02-20&linkCode=ic6&ascsubtag=amzn1.ideas.2YY5WRN3DMU7S
I would think most of them would be fine but I don’t know from first hand as my daughter doesn’t get carsick. I know I personally do but that’s mainly if I’m reading or staring at my phone screen for too long. These are all non-screen activities that I would think would be helpful.
You let your kid paint with a cup of water in the car?! You are crazy! How did that not spill?! It's not even in a cup holder!...I only allow Color Wonder markers in our car but even that has become stressful because my kids drop the lid and it rolls under the seat and then the marker dries out. From now on we are sticking with good old traditional Crayons!
Hey Candi! There was a damp sponge in the cup so no water can spill 👏 no worries here!! You could always use one of those soppy cup holders that hooks to the cup and clips to their car seat to avoid things falling. We love a good crayon too but it’s fun to venture out and try new things. 😁
Every Dollar Tree is going to be different in what they carry but my Dollar Tree has gotten more and more crafting things! You could try checking their website but the best bet is to check your local store. Happy shopping!!
I am a kid and my parents are so happy that I don’t say are we there yet till the very end of the car ride I usually just say how long till we’re there
it's so funny to hear you guys (americans)talk about 12 hour drives like... yeah we do that once in a while because our familiy lives 11 hours to the west. While we Europeans are like ......12 HOURS!!!! In the Netherlands.. you crossed the entire country three times in 12 hours. When we need to do a 2,5 hour drive kids already consider is a reallly looooonggg trip. The fact that my dad lives a 40 minute drive away is already like...really dad... you had to move THAT far away from us.

What if my kids gets carsick are these activities recommended? Any ideas for activities and motion sickness?

I’m a kid is it just me or is it only my parents that never do anything like this?
