I’d recommend you to find the lyrics and translations as they add a lot of meaning to each sound. That meaning helps understanding the passion of the crowd. This song is about a secret Party where the poor challenge the rich and the powerful, in this case the catholic church and their hypocrisy (for example, it says “if there’s no food for your family, but the abbot is pretty fat; and his virgin -the statue- is dressing gold, ... STRIP her”!). When I bought this disc it came with the lyrics and there were also some paragraphs between the songs explaining the transition from one song to the next one. Almost like a novel or a musical. Any of their discs is perfect for a musical.

Actually current Iberian Peninsula was known as Hispania by the Romans. Spain did not exist at that time. All northern part of the peninsula were populated by Celtics and the central part were populated by mixed Tribes called Celtiberians. People of Iberian Tribes mixed with Celtics Tribes. So current inhabitants of Spain are in our genes part Celtics join with different other peoples. Some parts of the country still maintain some Celtic culture features specially on Folk music using Pipes and Flutes.

I used to love this band, but then the singer and more of the other members left so I lost a bit of interest, but they have some great albums. Their style is between irish folk sound and just folk metal but they dove into other genres too. This song is one of their greatest hits, as you could see, very catchy.

At IberoAmerica there's always been great Rock Bands from back in the day , from all genres from Metal to hard to folk rock, Eclectic and Everithing in between. Even something in the day was called GuacaRock Hehe. But kf by following the warning you get more interested in what Spanish Rock offers : you're welcome man. José Andrea era Mago de Oz, y el cacique jefe y malísimo batería (doble bongo siempre grabado ya que no da más de sí) se lo cargo y poco a poco a la banda, que ya no es ni sombra de lo que fue cuando estaban todos los mejores. Que gozada oir a José Andrea!!!!!.

Well the Celt were in great part of Europe. And this in Spain is folk music. In the north of Spain we have Celt music with bagpipes, etc.
