As Jimin FACE album production diary documentary shows, Jimin wrote the lyrics, composed most of the melodies, as well as was throughly involved in production for all songs! The first song on the album, a must to hear, ❣️“Face-Off”, absolute fire! As well as the song ❣️“Alone”, so deep, beautiful, & emotional, comes right after ❣️“Like Crazy”, which has a full English version as well, also a ‘hidden’ song❣️ “The Letter” (which Jimin wrote as a thank you to army), which can only be found on the physical album! But there is posted on YT a lyric vid for that as well. Last song spectacular ❣️“Set Me Free Pt.2”. The whole album, as Jimin has mentioned, is what he was trying to convey, pouring his heart out, his very essence, to show what he was going through, during pandemic, his emotions, thoughts, loneliness, despair, depression, that he hoped to share & have many able to relate to! Plus his voice is so beyond heavenly, stunningly beautiful, so eloquent, his ability to convey his feelings, emotions, what the lyrics are trying to say, his approach, the various tones that resonate, making you feel that much more what he’s feeling. What a phenomenal artist he is! Jimin worked alongside BigHit legendary genius producer, as well as a couple of other producers, who e also worked alongside of BTS on many of their songs in the past! Jimin & the others worked non stop to the point where Jimin even mentioned he pretty much lived at Pdogg’s house where there’s a production studio where they all worked, apparently Jimin’s new release, yet another equally so beautiful, sincere song meant as a gift for army, ❣️“Closer than This” was also created there as well as who knows what other songs he was still working in when album was released, looking forward to even more content! 👍❤🔥🐥😍🔥🔥

I think you’ll enjoy his other songs, as you noted, you aren’t the target audience for this one. For a fan song, though, Jimin’s lyrics and music (he wrote and composed this song, and the art looks like it might be his as well), this is pretty darn good. I can see us singing it all together in 2025 in the stadiums and clapping and crying and having the best time. Jimin doesn’t have a ton of solo songs, but the diversity is extreme. The one thing they have in common is quality. He’s definitely a quality over quantity kind of guy. He’s proven himself to be an amazing singer/songwriter, as well as dancer. Plus he’s a sweetheart and good person who exudes love. Thank you for an interesting and fun reaction 😊

❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!
JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!!
JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! Jimin's vocals are top tier. He had the shortest training period and wasnt given vocal lessons.
He said he sat in during Jungkook's vocal lessons and then would practice on his own. He has since taken vocal lessons and his hard work paid off!

purple is much more than just a color that represents bts. It's a different case from other groups because it wasn't picked like artists do. It was picked by an emotional bonding moment of bts and army. In 2016. for the 5th muster concert army planned an event during 2!3! performance. 2!3! is bts' first fan song and a very special song for both bts and army. Army planned to cover their army bombs with purple cloth and rise it during 2!3!. purple was chosen because it transmitted light the best and suited blood, sweat and tears. Army did that and sang 2!3! back to the members, it was a very emotional moment. after seeing that taehyung gave purple a meaning and said "purple means i'll love and trust you for long time". Thats how it became bts and army's color

1. I cried the moment the MV started showing the pictures of seven of them. I miss seeing them together so much. I've been ARMY for two years.
2. I think BTS have planned their military period very smartly. In other K-pop groups, they usually keep the number of inactive members to a minimum, only one or two at a time, so that the rest of the group can stay active and maintain the public's interest. They even release albums and perform as incomplete groups. But consequently, they stay incomplete for years and years. Only one K-pop group, ONF, have enlisted altogether and so has the shortest military period, but for 1.5 years, none of them are active.
BTS take the middle road, in that they still stagger the enlistment periods, but they enlist close together, so this results in 2.5 years that the group is incomplete, but the period where ALL of them are inactive is only 6 months. However, rather than be an active incomplete group, they would prefer the group to be simply inactive altogether for those 2.5 years. Instead, they fill the military period with solo activities.
3. Jimin does have a unique voice. His naturally high voice and V's deep vocals complement each other very well in group songs. His "Like Crazy" hit #1 on Billboard Hot 100, the first Korean soloist to do so. You can see pictures of the celebration in this MV. Can't wait for you to react to his EP "Face". My favorite songs of his are "Letter" (hidden track from the EP), "Promise" (a stand-alone single), and "Serendipity" (from BTS album).
4. Since you did album reactions for RM's Indigo and Jungkook's Golden, why not do album reactions for Agust D's albums too? Haha... sorry, I'm being greedy. BTS are all serving their country right now. They are fulfilling their 18 months of mandatory military service, which was part of the reason for their group break. They all released solo work before they enlisted. Jimin's album FACE is all about his feelings during the pandemic, so facing yourself, is the idea for the FACE concept. And his songs are FIRE. Not about romance. V and Jungkook covered that area. Also, our rap line are the main songwriters for the group, and all three of them released amazing albums. If you haven't checked out D-Day by Agust D, you should, and Jack In The Box by J-Hope. We also get to look forward to JIN releasing an album when he is discharged in June 2024. He was only able to release one song before he enlisted. 4 of the members enlisted together.

I'm a 2020 BTS ARMY, and I have listened to all of their discography and watched their interviews, vlogs, been to 2 BTS concerts, and an Agust D concert, and read their documentary and watched all of their docu-series. I'm a dedicated ARMY just as much as the OG's. and I vote, stream, and purchase albums and merch. This song is for all of us.

The hiatus is only due to the mandatory military service. They will be back as a group Jun 2025. They already resigned their contracts. Jin was the first to leave and will be back this coming Jun. this song is not about a romantic relationship. It’s us just about BTS/Jimin and Army. He is reassuring us he (and the group) will be back in the blink of an eye.
