Kaguya Houraisan used to be a princess from the moon but after consuming the Hourai Elixir and the failed attempts to kill her by her fellow lunarians she was banished to the earth. She is essentially the same Kaguya from the story "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter" but the differences between that Kaguya and the one from the story is Kaguya *Houraisan* never actually left earth, she lives in Eientei which is hidden in Gensokyo while the Kaguya from "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter" was forced to leave Earth to live back on the moon. The most common depictions of Kaguya are a mixture between NEETs and trolls, due to Kaguya living for thousands of years she is often depicted playing various types of video games and sometimes even getting a heated gamer moment or two while the troll part comes from her tricking various different men who wanted to marry her because of her beauty by sending them off to find the items she already had and often tricks others she finds to try and kill Mokou, it usually ends with the two fighting after Mokou realizes what Kaguya did. Both Kaguya and Mokou are immortal from the Hourai Elixir meaning their fights are ties at best. Kaguya tricked Mokou's father into searching for one of the items she already had for one of the "impossible" requests, after hearing about it Mokou swore vengeance for her father after hearing what the former moon princess did. One of the more embarrassing depictions of Kaguya makes the former moon princess rely on her friend (and servant) Eirin Yagokoro, the one who made the Hourai Elixir. Constantly saying "Help me Eirin!" whenever something starts to go south for the former lunarian princess, usually when a third party shows up and starts kicking her ass."
