You are wonderful, Lilly! Great job taking care of those bees! You are right, if many gardeners kept bee hotels, it wouldn't be overwhelming, like a whole hive, but it would still be beneficial to everyone!
Interesting to see which sizes they need at your place. I came to the same conclusion that they need 6 to 8 mm holes, when I built and checked the bee hotel for our garden (which I actually started to build after I've seen your first bee hotel video).
It was a leftover cut, that I found in a hardware store for about 25 bucks. Bees dont need to be attracted. They come by themselves if they like the shelter.
This is suck a great idea 💡. Lovely channel. I envy your subscriber counts and hope 1 day I can make it to 1000subs. Your an inspiration to us small channels who want to grow. Thanks Lilly.
Do you have a video of the making of your Solitary (Mason?) bee house?

I also have very small bees, and they use holes about 4 mm. Here in Australia there are many sizes of wild bees.
Cool

How deep are the holes?
About 3 / 4 through the entire thickness
@SurvivalLilly thanks for the reply, Lilly. I might try one of these.
Curious how you made this. Just a 4x6 piece of lumber? And how you attracted the bees??
