this is a fantastic idea. a video of each run would get a ton of views - particularly from greenies trying to figure out/prepare for the longer runs and which ones we can survive 😂

Thanks, yeah… I like filming them. I’ll have one vid of all of Steamboat’s greens before I go back to making off-road content for my other channel. Next winter, this channel will get kicked into high gear.

My parents had a townhouse at Storm Meadows in the 70’s. I used to catch this trail where the road ended and the trail began. I would bring my dirt bike from California for the summer. The trail was down below the first row of townhouses one thru twelve.

We used to stay in the Ski Time Square condos back in the 80’s…it was ski in/ ski out so they were nice..not sure if they are there anymore. My brothers liked to go to the Tug Boat bar at night 😅

Ski Time Square is still around, but unfortunately Tug Boat is permanently closed. There’s some other places, but I know people miss tugboat.

Why not runs into Right O Way that goes to the base. I use to stay at Storm Meadows bld #400 quite a bit in the ‘80’s when it was ski in ski out. Now they’ve built those condos in front so it’s just ski in. lol. Progress. Hmm.

lol, yeah, Steamboat is an interesting mountain. Adding Wild Blue and putting a lift on Mahogany have been controversial to some of my local friends here. Still, I’m a fan, but I do miss Keystone’s long and fast cruisers… that’s the one thing missing here. The longest fast runs take only a 1-3 minutes to get down at Steamboat where Keystone’s were 5-7 minutes. However, I do like the chutes, the trees, and hike terrain here. It’s a fun mountain!

Why (the fuqk) Not is a trail indeed... forget about width here, a service road it is.

Yeah, I was a snow maker briefly and made good use of those service roads!
