Since New London is gonna reneg on their trade deal anyways, you can pump them for lumber a few times before they piss off your outpost people per the storyline; you can do so for coal too, but obviously not a resource you’re desperate for most of the game
If this mode didn't have a coal mine and instead had you relying on coal thumpers, upgrading the children's mine would've been very worthwhile. I finished this scenario and saved New London without even visiting the children's mine since my outpost produced coal faster than steel.
This may be the only playthrough on yt that will actually show fully upgraded childrens mine. Cant wait to see the rest!
It’s gonna be difficult but we will make it! Thanks for watching 👍

I’m looking forward to the rest of this playthrough sir and the decision you will make along the way.
Awesome! Work has kinda caught up with me at the moment, so I’ll be sitting down on Sunday and completing the rest of the play through!

Ah awesome, something to take into account if I play this scenario again. Would like to do it on extreme difficulty!
