I had an Is300 like the Toyota Altezza. Now I drive a 2018 f80 zcp. And the Bimmer is on a different level better
Regardless of speed, I think the manual is better. I personally don't drive manual anymore, I'm not trying to handle Myrtle Beach traffic in that, but I used to have a 5 speed civic. It was slow, it only had 140 hp, but rowing through gears honestly just changes your whole mindset. Don't even need to worry about what the speedometer says, the driving experience is just so pure.
I thought the same thing until I drove this 7 speed dct. The manual 6 speed is rubbery, lacks a lot of feel and is just not as fun believe it or not.
that race was valid. he kept saying he was stock , i mean i get it some people really think if you dont do anything to the engine you are still stock. But when dealing with n54/n55 , b58 , s55 , s58 ect bro a mid pipe , a REAL intake system and a stage 1 tune is a big difference as we can see lmaoo. that shit is not stock anymore ion get why people always be quick to say they stock knowing they not stock lmao.
with that being said this not a valid comparison to compare to yo car to a non stock f80 and testing the manual vs dct

Dct is honestly the best of both worlds it’s a automated manual but a manual has it perks being more rare and slightly more engaging since you are using clutch and manually moving into each gear the dct is gonna be faster but overall can’t go wrong with either choice all comes down to what you want like me personally I would take a dct since it manual with no clutch pedal
i own a blue modified Fk7 2018 6-speed Manual from Japan (RHD), and watching this manual M4 is lovely because I know what it feels to drive a manual, something you cant explain with words, great video bro!!.
