It's no so much what they bought, it's that they put these buses on the road, knowing that 30,000 people would need to get to the station at the end of they cricket. Yet there were big buses in the depot, not in service that could have been running. It also does not help that the 60 3-axle trolleybuses do not run on weekends. Despite what people say, NZBus is starting to become a really shit company.
