    I just got a halfway decent glimpse of my olive sling for the first time in months, I saw that the striped pattern is coming in nicely and it’s a lot bigger than it was the last time I saw it! It was nice to see more than just its feet which was all I’d been seeing of it lol. They’re such pretty little spiders!

    I’ve been afraid of spiders most of my life. I’ve watched your channel for 3 years now and have grown more accustomed to them. To the point that I’ve become quite fond of them. I do still get antsy with really fast spiders.
    But I have contemplated getting a beginner spider. Probably some more slow. Which would be on the bigger end.
    That aside I do have to thank you cuz you’ve helped me feel more comfortable around them, understand them better, and actually grown to like some.

    Hi Dave, I think an interesting addition to these pairing videos (or maybe even warranting its own video/series) would be information about preparing for breeding and eggsacs, both pre and post-pairing. Things like temperature/moisture changes, feeding, and any other information as it pertains to maximizing chance of success. For instance, Brachypelmas normally prefer arid conditions but breed during the wet season in the wild, so how does that translate into breeding them in captivity? I think info like this would be great for people looking at getting into breeding. Anyway, great video as always!

Thus which is One of the main reasons i only watch daves channel for my spider fascinations

    Hi Dave 🤗 Im turning to you because you have so much knowledge. I have finally bought some balfouri mature male and I find one of them very very interesting. I talk to them sometimes saying mostly "hello" "hi" to them with a soft soft and calm voice. When I talk to especially one of them he always comes to the front and staying there while Im talking and he is tapping, not hard tapping but like soft tapping and he do that a lot. 😅 its also like he tries to find a way to come out to me when Im talking saying the same thing😅 after some time he walks away but it doesn't take long time until he goes back to me and he still do this soft tapping. And he stayes there for actually minutes. Its like he listens, to the vibration of the voice and communicating when he do this soft tapping. Im so so curious🙃🤗 Do you know what this means?
    I really hope you will answer😇🙏🏼💜

    • @daveslittlebeasties

      @@daveslittlebeasties Haha😅 They are so interesting💜Thank you so much😀💜
      Im talking to them every day, eXtra with this one because he is really responding. I still say the same few words all the time, as I wrote in a very very soft voice. Now he notice faster so he comes to the front almost directly, i say "hello", he do some tapping and then stand still, its like he is waiting for a response😄 I respond, say "hii", he do some movement again, then stand still, and it looks like he is waiting for a response again😅 when Im talking to him It very much looks like he is looking for a way to get out, he has started to also put his leg into the airholes in the front, sometimes his whole leg trying to reach when Im talking. He doesn't reach anything though😅 then he tries another airhole when he finds it. Sometimes he only put the "foot" in and sometimes his whole leg. 🤭It looks like he is desperately searching to get out when he hear my voice, sometimes in a calmer way😍 it is so cuuuute💜 it makes my heart melt😍 what is the reason why he wants to get out when he hear me? Please answer😇🙏🏼💜

    How long they live?

    • @jefo2405
      @jefo2405 5 месяцев назад +1

      Not sure about that species but males in general can live a few years, 3-5, females in general may live between 15-25 years, but it's down a lot to proper conditions for them. It also depends at what age you get your spider. If it's very small and young it's more fragile and you have to see to the conditions in the tank better. Once they grow they get more robust. But generally if you keep a spider that needs high humidity too dry it will likely die before its time. I'm sure a very well kept female spider can even make it to 30 years.
