took the Eurostar from London St Pancras Intl to Paris Nord in March 2019, which cost 89.00 USD. From London Victoria to Paris by bus, it cost 52 GBP. The journey time on the Eurostar was 2.5 hours, while it took 10 hours on the bus. If you rush to Paris, using the train is the best option for you.

When I went from the UK to France via the Eurotunnel, everything was done in the departure country, so I think that is true.

There was no security check of luggage when I filmed this video, but I do not know the latest circumstances of the security check.

For a few more £ you could use the eurostar.

Yes, before the bus got in an Eurotunnel train, all passengers had to leave the vehicle, go through immigration office, and get in the bus again.
