Watching this entire built tonight and loving it! One question though why did you want to go with hydraulic steering instead of traditional? Usually traditional is fine with 40s unless you are rock crawling.
Thanks man, it's been a fun build! I just released the test drive video last week. Basically my steering system was shot, there were broken teeth rattling around in the steering box, the pump was shot, and I had redneck welded the drag link and it was ugly! And with the 12 inch lift steering angles would have been a nightmare, especially with the ball joint dana 60 I have. So rather than deal with that full hydro seemed easier. Plus I wanted to try it out, I like to build crazy stuff. I put an electric steering booster out of a prius into a 4 wheeler once too haha..... Thanks for the question, it's a good one! Increase the spring pressure on your pumps pressure side valve and open the flow hole in its piston and see if it dont become more responsive
