Great video. Every time I was in Manila I enjoy with my wife there. Ayala Triangle is one of our favourite place. I recognise Greenbelt, and also Circuit. Thank you for sharing 🌞 Grettings from France!
I was talking to a lot of security guards and head of security yesterday. They're saying that the festival of lights MAY STILL happen by December. But we'll see...
I really thought it was because they're also renovating a part of Ayala Triangle, and it cost a lot. But if you get a chance to see that renovated area, they're only adding more plants for the landscaping and a children's playground. It looks like the reason behind the cancellation of the Festival of Lights is still a mystery
@@lakwatsatour tnx for the update ayun pa nman yung lagi namin hinihintay kpag lumabas kami ng greenbelt rekta na kami dun kaso wala na pala ,, bakit nga kaya tinanggal na.🤔
I'm also expecting the festival of lights. Sana i consider pa rin nila kahit late, knowing may mga parating pa na tropical storm baka di na nila ituloy. Sad 😌
It's already Nov 14 pero wala paring signs that they'll be having one. It takes time to install all those lights, dapat by now, meron na silang kinakabit kahit di pa papa-ilawan, pero wala. Marami naring pumupunta dito asking the guards kung bakit wala, while other guards are clueless, one guard I talked to jokingly answered "Baka wala pong budget this year" 🤣. Also, one side of the park facing McDonald's is under renovation, I wonder if the construction for this has affected the budget for the Festival of Lights. I am currently replying here in Ayala Triangle Gardens. 👍
The lights that are there make the place beautiful and magical. That's enough lights actually. Kesa dumagsa ang madla at magkakalat lang. Wala namang bibilhin, puro selfie lang. Thank you Ayala. Smart move.
been watching it ever since, mas maganda naman yung dancing lights and sounds. Also, while watching, napansin ko hindi naman nagkakalat mga tao as yung mga nanonood dun ay disiplinado naman. The lights now are boring and just the same sa christmas lights na typical sa ibang lugar dito sa pinas. Walang "magical" kumbaga.
baka dahil on going ang rennovation ng park... as far as I know after the construction of the new commercial strip yung kabilang side naman daw yung aayusin... saka marami rin kasing big projects ang ayala na on going sa Makati like greenbelt-glorietta rennovation, dela rosa carpark 2 convertion into a new central park and such kaya hindi na rin praktikal na maghold sila ng festival of lights considering that the area is under rennovation for improvement. Other than this, factors like the series of typhoons hitting the country, delayed preparations, and many more may also add to the cause of cancelation. Hope this helps.
no lights and sounds show. so dissapointing. idk the exact reason, Makati hasn’t told us yet, but maybe the frequent inclement weather, problem sa sponsorship or sa arrangement? or gastos/consumption of electricty because of the lights and sounds, gastos sa pagbili ng lights, or baka kulang pera nila? very sad. pero in fairness maganda pa rin ung nilagay nila.
One side of the park facing McDonald's is under renovation, I wonder if this has affected the budget for the Festival of Lights 🤔. Meanwhile, BGC will have fireworks for all Saturdays of November and December every 7:30pm 🤨

UPDATE: There's no more Festival Of Lights at this point. Sad to see this happen since they wanted to "stick with tradition".

Lol. It was tradition. Wala naman talagang bibilhin dun except for food. What are you actually on about?

The entire Ayala Avenue, Glorietta, and Greenbelt malls are already a festival of lights.
No, it isn't. There are a lot of places surrounding Ayala that don't even have any lights at all that had previously had one in the past 5-10 years.
Obviously you havent seen the Annual light show at the Ayala Triangle gardens..
Are you the PR of Makati or Ayala? Clearly you don't know what we're all looking for.
Maybe by December. Medyo late dahil sunod sunod kasi ang bagyo na pumapasok dito
Let's just hope so
ano cam mo?
Gamit ko po ay Osmo Pocket 3 👍
Sad naman. Mayora
Ano kaya kinalaman ng mayora sa Light festival? Eh private property yan.
After Effect of BGC, Rockwell and new places popping everywhere..

happen, not happened. 😃
