Trust me it's easily the hardest Bemani game to get into. The rating scale goes from 1 to 12 and to give you an example V on Normal is a 5 and it's just as hard as the Challenge chart on DDR. Also to pass a song you need to have at least 80% on your gauge. It's pretty hard but it's a lot of fun when you get to the harder stuff.
iAstro129 Keyboardmania is very hard to get into because of the layout however most of the charts are nothing compared to IIDX. Also in IIDX scratching is really hard to do because your hand is far apart from the turntable and it's hard to do a shit load of scratches while playing other things with the keys. One more thing is that you need to have a playstyle which is nonexistent in game like Pop'n, DDR, and almost all Bemani games. Kon, I really should subscribe to you and your streaming channels. During this drought of American IIDX media it'll be great to have someone able to provide streams. Hopefully you can get through to your arcade and have a consistent stream setup for your venue. I'd definitely watch it.
