This timeline made me realise how dark WOF is for a "kids series" kids series my a*s. And let's be honest Indigo never gave Darkstalker a fair chance, she immediately went to kill him.
@@WofNerd I know, it's just that she he never gave him a chance. The moment he said something she didn't like she put a dagger to his neck and said let's kill him here now. Despite the fact that at that point in the story he had done nothing wrong v but yes I agree her suspicions were well founded. She acted too rashly and it nearly got killed.
26:27 .Pyrite was not a spy in the Talons of Peace. She only went there after the events of Book 1 and Ruby took the throne, the enchantment compelling Pyrite to be completely loyal to Queen Scarlet meaning she could not pledge allegiance to anyone else even with a promise of amnesty.
As far as we know, the bloodline of the first dragon queen has remained in power up to the present & based on the description of Cottonmouths' home in Book 15, it seems that Freedoms' egg (which is implied to be the first queens' egg) was stolen from what would be the Sky Kingdom Having Scarlet be descended from a dragon who had something stolen from her & choose genocide makes SO much sense
Random dragon: What happened here? did something explode? Clearsight: i had a poptart for breakfast today. Random dragon: what does that have to do with anything? (dies)
Heyyyyyy, uhm, I hate to be "That Guy", but.... I don't understand how everybody, including Tui herself, completely forgot a passage of The Book of Clearsight, I refer to page 285, book 11, The Lost Continent. "And then, on a date marked about nine hundred after the first, she'd written: 'Take care of the trees. I think they might be in danger, but I can't see why. Help the Leafwings protect them.'" Written word-for-word by Tui and Clearsight themselves. Don't believe me? Check for yourself.
Bro there is so much lore I missed or forgot, you did a great job putting it all in a timeline though! I should probably reread the books or something lol
At least this feels like a shorter saga then all of Myst. Either way I love listening to long sagas of books while I play Dwarf Fortress so enough of my rambling thank you.
This video was so borderline perfect that it left me speechless I have to say this is the best video you have made yet and I cannot wait to see more amazing content. I hope this channel lasts for a very long time and I hope all of you young and old reading this comment, have a good life
Semirelated to Wof but the BOE idea always seemed left field to me. Why is there a sentient plant capable of mind control? Was this a Tui made idea or did someone suggest it to her? I know she was one of the authors for Spirit Animals so did she get that from SpAn? Around the time TLC arc started, that series ALSO had an Old God creature with mind control bent on taking over the world. Are there OTHER books by scholastic that also have this plot thread? If so, who is giving authors this idea?
look into cordyceps, it's a fungus that can 'mind control' certain insects, including turning them into zombie-esque creatures i believe that the breath of evil is based upon this
It’s not the BOE that is specifically sentient, according to sundew, because of her leaf speak, she can understand the plant’s thoughts or desires, and they all want to grow, it’s just that this one evolved a unique way to do it

Foeslayer actually wasn't sent to seduce Prince Arctic, that's just what all the icewings thought, it's actually confirmed in book 7, go see it for yourself.
I swear there’s a flashback sequence in Legends darkstalker explaining the whole thing. Foeslayer came with her mom (unnamed I think) to a political meeting with the ice wing, while there, Prince Arctic fell in love with her and revealed his animus powers. He ran away to the night kingdom with foeslayer, and the night wings accepted him.
@@LFDLittlefluffydino definitely not, that's a major exaggeration. sure, some people know it as the books with queer representation, but that's far from the *only* thing it's remembered for
Unpopular opinion I know, but I still think you're being a little too harsh on Dragonslayer. Sure, it might not amount to much in the overall series, and is forgettable, but it does still tie up some loose ends and give us a deeper understanding of the humans. Still. This was an excellent summary. Keep up the good work.

Tbf her suspicions and reasoning were correct but that did set him down the villain arc (he was pretty much doomed to it tho)

How have i Never known that Humans were Industrial?
I highly doubt they were, its shown that humans still carried swords with them. The Industrial era had guns at that point.
