- A flashback to when Mario and Luigi were even younger. I don't own anything in this video,
(I already uploaded this clip before, but it got blocked due to copyright so here it is again).
One thing I really like about this movie is that they show a good brotherly relationship. I feel like in modern film and tv we see a lot of sibling rivalry and hate, so it's refreshing to see two brothers that actually love and protect each other. It's sweet, and in this case, a good example to kids.
I get the feeling the whole sibling rivalry is just people making parodies and shit for shits and giggles. But this scene was definitely wholesome

Yeah I don’t really like sibling rivalry, I honestly like it when Mario and Luigi get along and never argue.
My four year old son just got into this movie and now wants to pretend to be Luigi and has Mario as his imaginary friend. I think he really connected with protectiveness of Mario for his brother in the movie and it’s very sweet.

I teared up here. This shows how much the brothers truly love and care for each other even as babies.

This movie wasn't meant to have a deep or complicated plot. It's simple, nostalgic and family friendly. But I'll have to say this scene really humanized the Mario Bros. even more. They both care for each other and Mario always has Luigi's side, no matter what. I choked up and teared up a bit, not gonna lie.
Simple is sometimes better. No need to overcomplicate it. My bros have my back and I have theirs, so this scene resonates with me. Luigi obviously looks up to Mario and doesn't care if others think Mario is "bringing him down." He trusts that his bro is going to be there for him. It's wholesome how he talks about Mario to Bowser as the best bro ever.

Every heroes have at least one sidekick, and the relationship between them is sometimes complicated. But Mario and Luigi are by far one of the cutest duos Nintendo has ever created! Ever since their earliest days, they’ve always got each other’s back, no matter which media we’re looking at. If someone endangers one of the two, the person’s toasted, as the other will definitely come to his brother’s aid.

This is honestly the scene that makes me love LUIGI the most, because he still has a love and memories that he will never forget for his brother. Luigi will always be my favorite character from the MARIO BROS license. 💚

i hate how modern tv shows has to show that you need to be mean and rude to your younger brother/it leads to dehumanization and sadly my brother was a victim of this. he tormented and humiliated me for many years of my life, leading to mentall illnesses trauma and misstrust in others. my brothers 24 now and he's realised that the harm he did to me was not okay even if we were kids. teasing is fine. but please. to any older sibling out there. don't and i repeat don't treat your younger siblings like toys. they are humans with emotions just as valid as yours. and i think this movie did a great job at showing how an brotherly relationship should look like.

I think what gets me most is that look of fright and confusion from baby luigi as baby Mario smiles at him to reassure him. Baby luigi is not like mario. He is timid and easily scared. What I love about this movie, is how’s it symbolizes the truest of brothers that brothers should ever be. That, in the example of Mario and Luigi. I’ve always really related to Luigi (despite my icon being that of Mario) and looked up to my older brother Caleb, who always related more to Mario, in that terminology. Caleb and I even got tattoos of Mario and Luigi to symbolize that of me and hood brotherhood and in that we are the truest of brothers ever. I got the Luigi tattoo and he got the Mario tattoo.
