Have you ever said to yourself something similar to, ”It’s okay, when I am married, I will stop getting angry so easily” or “I’ll never hurt my spouse or children with my words like I did today with my parents or siblings - I will change and I’ll be better.” The same goes for a society thinking that a person will change once they get married so a spouse should be sought for them to finally change their life-long bad habits. Most of us believe in the idea of changing for the spouse and, possibly changing them too. This delusional notion suggests that change comes after marriage and two different people suddenly become this harmonious couple who have been completely separated from all of their past habits, mannerisms, and behaviours to fulfil their marital duties perfectly.

09:22 10. You can't do it alone.

10:49 12. Expect your duaa to be answered.
11:40 13. When it is time to change, then change. Don't repeat the same actions that lead to the same thing.
12:00 14. The best things in life are usually the simplest.
12:30 15. Demand the best by others by giving it.
13:00 16. Control your emotions.
13:28 17. Never lose control of your character.
13:48 18/19./20. Forget the past. Focus on the present. And don't try to control the future.

Please marry well brothers and sisters. There are alotttt of not nice people out there. I'm happily married because the girls family was beautiful. The girls character will rarely be better than her family. Please pray for each other and protect yourself from those odd families
Exactly and people underestimate the fact that toxic/bad people ALWAYS show some kind of red flag no matter how good they are at faking it (I almost got engaged to a pathological liar😰)

I respect the message this Brother is relaying.
Though there may have been more exposure of body parts (due to clothing being less proper). But I disagree that it was harder - there are many Hadith that state fitnah will increase towards the end time. Even the Prophet (PBUH) said women will be dressed and naked at the same time.
Additionally- The mentality towards sexuality has completely evolved.
In general we do go through the same tests; but I don't think it's fair to say there was more fitnah during that time.

As Salam can somebody translate what the sheikh (recitator) is saying in the begging "Ay Alf Allah" correct me if wrote it wrong pls
He is saying "Haya al falah", which means "come to succes". It is part of the adhan (islamic call to prayer)
