You should try leaving the loop handle and spinning it 180°. I doing that you give yourself a perfect handle when you flip the trimmer over to edge. Give it a shot, it’s great
I was a happy Stihl (gas) guy for 30 years, but they were both slow to market and far too expensive until now. Tried EGO's trimmer for two years but couldn't convert from Stihl's traditional counterclockwise rotation to EGO's clockwise spin. Perfect for left-handed people maybe. This year I spent $142 on a Hart Tools trimmer w/battery from Walmart and though it's no-frills, it has the counterclockwise spin I want and if anything goes wrong with either tool or battery, a new replacement is as far as the nearest Walmart. (Their bump heads are similar to Echo's.) So Hart goes in the "good enough" category for me. 👍
I make you right on paying above the odds for the brand name. I've been doing this type of work for 30yrs now and have always used Stihl, but their quality has fallen compared to what it was 10 plus years back. Shame the prices haven't. I Like your vids and working attitude. Stay safe.
I use a ryobi brushless hp trimmer and I came across a bunch of stihl attachments I put them together and it works perfectly I know it’s mix match but I probably saved thousands of dollars and I can find a 40V battery cheap almost anywhere
What do I think? I think you tiptoed through the tulips and didn't challenge that thing in the least. As a homeowner with over an acre of grass there's some areas that aren't perfectly manicured like your grass is. And then you took that perfectly manicured yard and gave it a buzz cut which doesn't challenge the motor in the least. Would weeds bog it down or slow down the head? What would the runtime be if it was used in the real world? Would the longer grass and thicker weeds reduce the run time to something ridiculously low? What the trimmerhead slow to a crawl? I think this thing is geared at someone that has too much money and just wants another toy. It isn't for someone that has a real yard because we can get discounts if we go green but I'm not going to go green at $700 when I wasn't shown what this piece of equipment is really capable of and if it could run for 2 hours and the real world as opposed to manicured postage stamp.
He Fill, you should try EGO vs Stihl. Appears to be much better value and more powerful. Carbon fiber shaft and automatic (aka "auto-magic") line feed.
Oh, if you're comparing it to the fs 55 or other homeowner units then it is probably fine. But I wouldn't give up mu fs91 or fs131 for it. Weight be damned, I need HP.
I think the big names are like you said you pay for the name. It's like a Harley and a Yamaha bike you pay dearly for the Harley name even though both bikes for the same thing.
@@fillslawncareplus I get that a lot of what you do is testing and reviewing. Just stating my preference. There's just something about a nice bladed edge and the shovel clean-up that resonates within me. I love it...and often go to sleep to it. And thank you! 😘

Nice!
Thanks for the review. If the power or run time is greater then a higher price would be justified. All things equal, go for the better deal.
Yes sir!
Those trimming video clips could be in a advertisement for stihl! 😃
Thanks bro!

Just what I needed Fill, how to install the grill correctly! Thinking of getting one soon. Cheers bud.

In the future I am planning on starting my lawn care business and I would like to try out stihl equipment 👍🏼 and I would be a solo person
Awesome plans
I love your cat’s cameo!
Right lol
Good info Fill 💚
Thanks

Good feedback and you got a point. Needs Harder, more in-depth testing
What strimmer do you use. I have an acre of grass and need a good strimmer.
For commercial, maybe, but for residential, EGO is more than good enough and less than $200 for the more than adequate base model.
I wouldn't use this trimmer for commercial use tbh. Better options out there
for me to much plastic. like
U need to take that out where we can REALLY see what it can do.
True that!
Reviews are great, I would like to see more.
I have Darwins grips are great, the taller you are, the more they will help you.
love it. smooth operation.
Thank you for the feedback:)
Good stuff buddy
Thanks Tony!

Can you do a review on the STIHL BGA57? Thank you. Love your channel
I don't own one but maybe in the future :)
Don't bother with it...the BGA 60 is going to be released soon and it's much more powerful.
Good job.
Where do you get the shirts in your thumb nail?
That kind of money would get a nice Red Max or Echo gas weedeater.
Yes sir!
Could I put my hedge trimmer head on it if I got in a pinch like(fs90)?
I thought about that but I don't think that will work
@@fillslawncareplus honestly got a good deal on one today on fb so I'll let you know as well

Yep 100%
I am from Australia I’m trying to get one of those handles but I can’t
They don't ship to Australia?
Nice 💯✂️
Thank you
You may think the edge looks good with the string. I don't. Just my preference.
I honestly like to use my bladed edger, just did it for review

hy, i just wanna know if i can delivery in france , i created my business and i need that amazing object, thanks in advance
Delivery what?
I’d pay the extra for Stihl or Husky.
Mines poor , low powered, battery red lights after 10 minutes and only lasts 15 , ok for strimming lawn edges but not a professional machine
🔥🔥🖤🖤🖤
ROFLMBO
When do you actually cut lawns?? Retired now but I never had time for such things like RUclips while in business. 🤣
Right over priced.
That is nice
