I Tried The STIHL FSA90R | Is It REALLY Worth $700!?

A few days ago, I decided to buy the Stihl FSA90R to find out if it was better than my Stihl KMA135R. Initial thoughts when I tried it at the dealer, it seemed WAAAYYY lighter than my 135. So I bought it. I brought it home and instantly removed the trimmer guard & installed a Darwin's grip 6.0. These 2 things I always do to any new trimmer I buy. The Stihl FSA90R retails at around $400 after tax. Battery for the trimmer is an additional $200, along with a $100 charger. This means that if you would want to purchase this trimmer for home use, you would have to cough up $700 to get started using it.
Now, if you want to use it for your lawn care business, you'd need an additional 2/3 batteries, costing you another $600... Not worth it if you ask me. There are plenty of cheaper alternatives, like the Milwaukee M18 outdoor power equipment line. If I was starting my journey from scratch, I would choose the Milwaukee route.
I will definitely have a follow up video released as soon as I get a feel for how this trimmer operates. We have already ran into a few issues that will be addressed in the new video. So stay tuned!
